Abstract

Prekaritas kerja merupakan ketidakstabilan ataupun kerentanan kondisi kerja yang menghasilkan minimnya perlindungan sosial atau jaminan jangka panjang yang dialami oleh para pekerja. Khususnya hal ini dialami oleh pekerja kemitraan lepas yang seringkali menjadi kedok bagi pihak perusahaan untuk menghindari pemenuhan hak normatif pekerja. Maka dari itu penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tujuan. Pertama, mengetahui bagaimana prekaritas kerja dialami oleh pekerja live streamer agensi X di Jakarta Utara. Kedua, mengidentifikasi bagaimana konsep The Precariat Guy Standing membentuk pemahaman atas bentuk prekaritas kerja yang dialami oleh pekerja live streamer Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi partisipasi, wawancara mendalam pada subjek informan, serta penelusuran dokumen literatur. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 5 pekerja live streamer aktif agensi X di Jakarta Utara dan 2 mantan pekerja live streamer agensi X di jakarta Utara yang sudah melanjutkan bekerja di lingkup lain. Penelitian dilakukan secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting pada bulan Mei 2026. Data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep The Precariat dari Guy Standing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prekaritas yang dialami pekerja live streamer di Agensi X terstruktur melalui ilusi kemitraan lepas dan kontrol algoritma aplikasi. Sistem kerja tersebut memindahkan seluruh beban risiko operasional ke pundak pekerja, menghilangkan jaminan sosial, serta mendisiplinkan tubuh dan waktu mereka melalui target penjualan. Berdasarkan konsep The Precariat Guy Standing, kerentanan struktural ini merepresentasikan kemunculan kelas sosial baru yang berada dalam posisi tawar lemah, hidup dalam ketidakpastian orientasi jangka pendek, serta terisolasi oleh kompetisi target. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengungkap berbagai bentuk eksploitasi harian, komodifikasi emosi, hingga strategi bertahan hidup yang ditempuh oleh para pekerja Kata Kunci: Prekaritas Pekerja, Live Streamer, Pekerja, Agensi, Algoritma ***** Labor Precarity refers to the instability or vulnerability of working conditions that result in a lack of social protection or long-term security experienced by workers. This is particularly evident among freelance partnership workers, a status often used as a pretext by companies to avoid fulfilling the normative rights of their workers. Therefore, this study aims to achieve several objectives. First, to examine how work precariousness is experienced by live streamer workers at Agency X in North Jakarta. Second, to identify how Guy Standing's concept of The Precariat shapes the understanding of the forms of work precariousness experienced by these live streamer workers. This study employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with informants, and literature reviews. The research subjects consist of five active live streamer workers at Agency X in North Jakarta and two former live streamer workers who have transitioned to other fields. The research was conducted virtually via Zoom Meeting in May 2026. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study utilizes Guy Standing’s concept of The Precariat. The research findings indicate that the labor precarity experienced by live streamer workers at Agency X is structured through the illusion of freelance partnerships and algorithmic control. This labor system shifts the entire burden of operational risks onto the workers, strips away social security, and disciplines their bodies and time through sales targets. Grounded in Guy Standing's concept of the precariat, this structural vulnerability represents the emergence of a new social class characterized by a weak bargaining position, life under short-term uncertainty, and isolation driven by metric competition. Furthermore, this study uncovers various forms of daily exploitation, emotional commodification, and survival strategies undertaken by the workers.
