Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Blooket terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di SMP Labschool Cibubur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental design). Instrumen tes berupa soal posttest kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis pada materi statistika, terdiri dari empat butir soal uraian yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan cluster random sampling dalam menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sebelum hipotesis diuji, dilakukan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas menggunakan uji Lilliefors dan uji homogenitas ragam menggunakan uji Fisher. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji-t dua sampel independen dengan taraf signifikansi (α) sebesar 5%. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai t_hitung sebesar 4,679 dan nilai t_tabel sebesar 1,997 (t_hitung>t_tabel) yang berarti H_0 ditolak. Artinya, rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan model PBL berbantuan Blooket (67,24) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional (51,23). Perhitungan effect size menggunakan rumus Cohen’s menunjukkan nilai sebesar 1,165 yang termasuk dalam kategori besar (86%). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model PBL berbantuan Blooket berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. ***** This research aims to determine the effect of the Blooket-assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students at SMP Labschool Cibubur. This research used a quasi-experimental design. The test instrument was a posttest of mathematical problem-solving ability on statistics material, consisting of four essay questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The sampling technique was conducted using cluster random sampling to determine the experimental class and the control class. Before testing the hypothesis, prerequisite tests were conducted, namely the normality test using the Lilliefors test and the homogeneity of variance test using the Fisher test. Furthermore, an independent sample t-test was conducted with a significance level of α=0.05. The test result showed t_count value of 4.679 and t_table value of 1.997 (t_count>t_table), which means H_0 is rejected. This indicates that the average mathematical problem-solving ability of the experimental class treated with the Blooket-assisted PBL model (67.24) is higher than that of the control class receiving conventional learning (52.23). The effect size calculation using Cohen’s formula showed a value of 1.165, which is included in the large category (86%). Thus, it can be concluded that the Blooket-assisted PBL model has an effect on student’s mathematical problem-solving ability.
