Abstract
This quantitative descriptive study measures fishing training participants' perceptions regarding the transition from offline to hybrid training across five KKP training centers. A sample of 100 respondents was selected via purposive sampling from a population of 15,223 participants. Data were collected using a 31-item online questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. Results show an overall Very Good perception score with an average of 3.57. Trainer Quality scored the highest (3.60), followed by Curriculum Quality (3.59), Method Effectiveness (3.57), Infrastructure Quality (3.56), and Cognitive Process as the lowest (3.54). The study concludes that the hybrid model is well-accepted due to offline practical sessions and trainer competence, despite online sessions causing cognitive load. It is recommended to restrict online theory to a maximum of 30% and offline practice to a minimum of 70%, alongside developing digital micro-learning and upgrading Training of Trainers (ToT) curricula.
