Abstract

Situs Cihunjuran merupakan salah satu tinggalan sejarah lokal di Kabupaten Pandeglang yang memiliki potensi sebagai sumber dan media pembelajaran sejarah. Namun, pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah belum dilakukan secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemanfaatan Situs Cihunjuran sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah lokal di SMAN 8 Pandeglang, SMAN 11 Pandeglang, dan SMKN 8 Pandeglang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap guru sejarah, juru pelihara situs, dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Situs Cihunjuran telah dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah lokal melalui penggunaan foto, video, presentasi, diskusi, dan penugasan berbasis sejarah lokal. Meskipun pembelajaran secara langsung di situs belum terlaksana secara optimal, pemanfaatannya mampu menghadirkan pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Keberhasilan pemanfaatan tersebut didukung oleh potensi historis situs, kedekatan lokasi dengan lingkungan peserta didik, fleksibilitas kurikulum, serta antusiasme peserta didik. Sementara itu, kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan literatur sejarah lokal, waktu pembelajaran, anggaran sekolah, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran luar kelas. Pemanfaatan Situs Cihunjuran memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman sejarah lokal, kesadaran sejarah, motivasi belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis, partisipasi aktif peserta didik, serta kepedulian terhadap pelestarian warisan budaya daerah. Dengan demikian, Situs Cihunjuran memiliki potensi besar sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah lokal yang kontekstual dan mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. ***** The Cihunjuran site is one of the local historical remains in Pandeglang Regency that holds potential as a source and medium for history learning. However, its utilization in history learning in schools has not been carried out optimally. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the utilization of the Cihunjuran Site as a local history learning medium at SMAN 8 Pandeglang, SMAN 11 Pandeglang, and SMKN 8 Pandeglang. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were gathered through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving history teachers, site caretakers, and students. The results of this study indicate that the Cihunjuran Site has been utilized as a local history learning medium through the use of photos, videos, presentations, discussions, and local history-based assignments. Although direct on-site learning has not been fully implemented, its utilization is capable of presenting more contextual learning in line with the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). The success of this utilization is supported by the site's historical potential, its proximity to the students' environment, curriculum flexibility, and student enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the challenges faced include limited local history literature, learning time constraints, school budgets, and the execution of outdoor learning activities. The utilization of the Cihunjuran Site brings a positive impact on improving local history understanding, historical awareness, learning motivation, critical thinking skills, active student participation, and concern for the preservation of regional cultural heritage. Consequently, the Cihunjuran Site holds great potential as a contextual local history learning medium that supports the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.
