Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di SMP Negeri 7 Jakarta. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan bulan Maret – Juni tahun 2026 menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment melalui desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 60 peserta didik yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, terdiri atas kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai post-test kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 23,47 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 18,33. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample t-test berdasarkan asumsi equal variances assumed memperoleh nilai t = 6,503 dengan df = 58 dan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 (< 0,05), sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Problem Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila melalui proses pembelajaran yang mendorong siswa menghasilkan ide, mengevaluasi alternatif solusi, dan memecahkan permasalahan secara kreatif. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning model on students' creative thinking skills in Pancasila Education learning at SMP Negeri 7 Jakarta. The study, conducted from March to June 2026, used a quantitative approach with a quasi experiment method through a pretest-posttest control group design. The study sample consisted of 60 students selected using purposive sampling techniques, consisting of an experimental class receiving Problem Based Learning and a control class receiving conventional learning. The results showed that the average post-test score for students' creative thinking skills in the experimental class was 23.47, higher than the control class's score of 18.33. The results of the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample t-test based on the assumption of equal variances obtained a t-value of 6.503 with df = 58 and a Sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.001 (<0.05), thus H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. These results indicate that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model has a significant effect on students' creative thinking skills in Pancasila Education learning. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning is effective in improving students' creative thinking skills in Pancasila Education learning through a learning process that encourages students to generate ideas, evaluate alternative solutions, and solve problems creatively.
