Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat atau tidaknya pengaruh metode pembelajaran Guided Writing terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang dirancang dalam bentuk Nonequevalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta, dengan sampel berupa dua kelas, yaitu kelas VII-D sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII-E sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah masing-masing kelas sebanyak 33 siswa. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada saat pretest sebesar 55,48, sedangkan rata-rata yang diperoleh pada posttest sebesar 74,76. Adapun pada kelas kontrol, nilai rata-rata pada pretest sebesar 54,27, sedangkan rata-rata yang diperoleh pada posttest sebesar 60,06. Berdasarkan uji hasil prasyarat yang dilakukan dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25, uji normalitas (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) pada pretest eksperimen sebesar 0,200 dan posttest sebesar 0,200 yaang keduanya berada di atas batas signifikansi 0,05, maka dinyatakan data berdistribusi normal. Adapun uji homogenitas, menunjukkaan rata-rata (based on mean) memperoleh nilai Sig.0,88>0,05, maka dinyatakan data bersifat homogen. Selain itu, uji hipotesis yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil Sig. (2-tailed) 0,001<0,05, maka dapat dinyatakan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Hal ini membuktikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran Guided Writing mempunyai pengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta.***** This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the Guided Writing learning method on the fantasy story writing skills of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta. This research employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method designed in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research population consisted of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta, with a sample of two classes: class VII-D as the control group and class VII-E as the experimental group, with 33 students in each class. The results showed that the average score obtained in the experimental class pretest was 55.48, while the posttest average was 74.76. In the control class, the average pretest score was 54.27, while the posttest average reached 60.06. Based on the prerequisite tests conducted using SPSS version 25, the normality test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) for the experimental pretest was 0.200 and the posttest was 0.200. Since both values are above the significance threshold of 0.05, the data is declared to be normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed a significance value based on the mean of 0.88 > 0.05, indicating that the data is homogeneous. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing showed a Sig. (2-tailed) result of 0.001 < 0.05, stating that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. This proves that the use of the Guided Writing learning method has a significant influence on the fantasy story writing skills of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 50 Jakarta.
