Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi tashrif al-af’al melalui penerapan metode Cooperative Learning tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman siswa dalam membedakan fi’il madhi, fi’il mudhari’, dan fi’il amr, serta proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru sehingga partisipasi siswa belum optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 27 siswa kelas VIII B MTs Wahid Hasyim Depok tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan nilai rata-rata, persentase ketuntasan, dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum tindakan sebesar 65,37 dengan persentase ketuntasan 26%. Setelah penerapan metode STAD, nilai rata-rata pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 74,63 dengan persentase ketuntasan 63% dan N-gain sebesar 0,28 dalam kategori rendah. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 87,04 dengan persentase ketuntasan 93% dan N-gain sebesar 0,55 dalam kategori sedang. Selain meningkatkan hasil belajar, penerapan STAD juga meningkatkan partisipasi siswa melalui diskusi kelompok, kerja sama, dan keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, metode Cooperative Learning tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi tashrif al-af’al sekaligus mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Pemahaman, Tashrif al-Af’al, STAD, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ***** This research aims to determine the improvement of students’ understanding of tashrif al-af’al through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning method of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) type. This research was motivated by students’ low understanding of tashrif al-af’al, particularly in distinguishing fi’il madhi, fi’il mudhari’, and fi’il amr, as well as the teacher-centered learning process that resulted in less optimal student participation. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this research were 27 students of class VIII B at MTs Wahid Hasyim Depok in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively using qualitative and quantitative approaches based on the mean score, mastery percentage, and N-gain. The results showed that the students’ mean score before the implementation of the action was 65.37, with a mastery percentage of 26%. After implementing the STAD method, the mean score in Cycle I increased to 74.63, with a mastery percentage of 63% and an N-gain score of 0.28, categorized as low. In Cycle II, the mean score increased to 87.04, with a mastery percentage of 93% and an N-gain score of 0.55, categorized as medium. In addition to improving learning outcomes, the implementation of STAD also increased student participation through group discussions, cooperation, and active involvement in the learning process. Therefore, the Cooperative Learning method of the STAD type can improve students’ understanding of tashrif al-af’al and encourage active student participation in the learning process.
