Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pandangan dunia dalam film “Farha” karya Darrin J. Sallam dengan menggunakan pendekatan representasi. Unsur-unsur yang dikaji dalam film “Farha” meliputi tema, tokoh dan penokohan, alur, konflik, dialog, latar sosial dan budaya serta amanat, kemudian dikaitkan dengan struktur sosial dan pandangan dunia (world view) yang melatarbelakangi lahirnya karya tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode menonton, dan mencatat. Data primer diperoleh langsung dari film “Farha” berupa adegan, dialog, dan unsur visual yang berkaitan dengan unsur internal film. Adapun data sekunder berupa buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan kajian film, dan pandangan dunia. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai keterkaitan antara struktur internal film “Farha” dan realitas sosial yang melahirkannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film Farha merepresentasikan pandangan dunia masyarakat Palestina melalui empat unsur utama, yaitu ontologi, epistemologi, aksiologi, dan antropologi. Jumlah data yang dianalisis sebanyak 20 data, yang terdiri atas 7 data aksiologi, 6 data antropologi, 4 data epistemologi, dan 3 data ontologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aksiologi merupakan unsur yang paling dominan, yang menandakan bahwa film ini berfokus pada nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dan kebangsaan. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan antara pandangan dunia dengan realitas sosial masyarakat Palestina melalui penggambaran nilai-nilai keteguhan, pengorbanan, identitas, pendidikan, dan hubungan antarmanusia dalam konteks peristiwa Nakbah. **** This study aims to analyze the worldview represented in the film Farha by Darrin J. Sallam using a representation approach. The elements examined in the film include theme, characters and characterization, plot, conflict, dialogue, social and cultural setting, and moral message. These elements are then related to the social structure and worldview that underlie the creation of the film. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis as the analytical technique. Data were collected through observation of the film and note-taking. Primary data were obtained directly from Farha in the form of scenes, dialogues, and visual elements related to the film’s internal structure. Secondary data consisted of books, scholarly journals, and previous studies relevant to film studies and worldview analysis. The findings of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between the internal structure of Farha and the social reality that gave rise to it. The results of this study indicate that the film Farha represents the Palestinian community’s worldview through four main dimensions: ontology, epistemology, axiology, and anthropology. A total of 20 data were analyzed, consisting of 7 axiological data, 6 anthropological data, 4 epistemological data, and 3 ontological data. The findings reveal that axiology is the most dominant dimension, indicating that the film emphasizes humanitarian and national values. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that the worldview portrayed in the film is closely related to the social reality of Palestinian society through the depiction of resilience, sacrifice, identity, education, and human relationships within the context of the Nakba.
