Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 31 peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan observasi pada Tindakan guru dan peserta didik selama pembelajaran, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Peningkatan kemampuan pada siklus I, yakni 75% menjadi 81% pada siklus II. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari 85% menjadi 90%, sedangkan aktivitas peserta didik meningkat dari 90% menjadi 95%. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing efektif meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik pada materi gaya serta mendorong proses penemuan dan keaktifan dalam proses pembelajaran. ***** This study aims to improve science literacy skills in science classes for fourth-grade students at SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi through the application of the guided inquiry learning model. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, comprising planning, implementation of interventions, observation, and reflection. The study involved 31 students. Data were collected through tests and observations of teacher and student behaviors during instruction, then analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The results showed that the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model was effective in improving students’ science literacy skills. The improvement in science literacy skills was observed from 75% in Cycle I to 81% in Cycle II. Teacher activity increased from 85% to 90%, while student activity increased from 90% to 95%. Thus, the guided inquiry learning model is effective in improving students’ science literacy skills regarding the topic of force and in encouraging the discovery process and active participation in the learning process.
