Abstract

Keterampilan menulis teks ulasan memerlukan metode pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong keterlibatan siswa dalam mengembangkan gagasan secara kolaboratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh Metode Collaborative Writing berbantuan aplikasi Miro terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Teks Ulasan Siswa Kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimental dan desain penelitian pretest posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMPN 223 Jakarta. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dari dua kelas dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 32 siswa. Adapun nilai rata-rata pretest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 68, sedangkan pada posttest sebesar 82. Selisih rata-rata pada nilai pretest dan posttest sebesar 12,74. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar < 0,001 yang lebih kecil dari α = 0.05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan metode Collaborative Writing berbantuan aplikasi miro memiliki pengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks ulasan siswa kelas VIII SMP. ***** Writing review texts requires a learning method that can encourage students to actively engage in developing ideas collaboratively. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Collaborative Writing Method Assisted by Miro Application on Review Text Writing Skills of Grade VIII Junior High School Students. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design. The population of this study consisted of eighth-grade students at SMPN 223 Jakarta. The sample was selected from two classes using a purposive sampling technique, with Class VIII A serving as the experimental class and Class VIII C as the control class. Each class consisted of 32 students. The mean pretest score of the experimental class was 68, while the mean posttest score was 82, resulting in a mean difference of 12.74. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the significance value (2-tailed) was < 0.001, which was lower than α = 0.05. Therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Collaborative Writing method assisted by the Miro application had a significant effect on the review text writing skills of eighth-grade junior high school students.
