Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengangkat isu sosial pola asuh otoriter sebagai perluasan makna edukasi melalui penciptaan karya seni lukis berbasis Artistic Research dengan pendekatan Practice-Led Research. Pola asuh otoriter ditandai oleh kontrol tinggi, komunikasi satu arah, tuntutan kepatuhan, dan rendahnya kehangatan emosional yang dapat berdampak pada psikologis anak hingga dewasa, seperti emosi terpendam, rendahnya kepercayaan diri, dan kesulitan mengenali emosi. Melalui seni lukis surealisme sebagai medium reflektif dan katarsis, penciptaan ini diharapkan membuka ruang edukasi reflektif serta memperluas wacana seni berbasis pengalaman emosional dan isu psikologis dalam pendidikan seni rupa.
