Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengembangkan motif Batik Nitik melalui proses stilasi yang bersumber dari elemen visual Sesar Opak Bukit Mengger, serta menerapkannya pada produk jaket busana kasual pria yang sesuai dengan karakter dan kebutuhan Gen Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen Pre-experimental Design dan desain One-Shot Case Study. Penilaian produk dilakukan berdasarkan teori estetika A.A.M. Djelantik (1999) yang meliputi tiga aspek, yaitu wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, serta penampilan atau penyajian. Proses eksplorasi dilakukan dengan mengolah karakter visual Sesar Opak Bukit Mengger, seperti pola retakan, lapisan batuan, dan tekstur butiran, kemudian dipadukan dengan karakteristik motif Batik Nitik melalui teknik stilasi. Hasil eksplorasi menghasilkan lima motif Batik Nitik yang kemudian diterapkan pada produk shirt jaket bergaya kasual. Produk dibuat menggunakan kain katun jenis soft denim sebagai bahan utama yang dikombinasikan dengan kain bermotif Batik Nitik hasil stilasi, kain katun polos dengan variasi warna dan tekstur, serta furing super lining. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan hasil eksplorasi motif Batik Nitik pada jaket busana kasual memperoleh penilaian yang “sangat baik” pada seluruh aspek penilaian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengolahan motif batik nitik melalui stilasi mampu menjadi salah satu alternatif inovasi dalam pengembangan Batik Nitik ke dalam busana kasual pria yang lebih fungsional dan sesuai dengan perkembangan gaya berbusana Gen Z. Kata kunci: Eksplorasi, Batik Nitik, Stilasi, Sesar Opak Bukit Mengger, Jaket Busana Kasual, Estetika.  ***** This study aims to explore and develop the Nitik Batik motif through a stylization process that originates from the visual elements of the Opak Sesar Bukit Mengger, and applies it to men's casual fashion jacket products that suit the character and needs of Gen Z. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental approach.Pre-experimental Designand designOne-Shot Case Study. Product assessment is carried out based on the aesthetic theory of A.A.M. Djelantik (1999) which includes three aspects, namely form or shape, weight or content, and appearance or presentation. The exploration process is carried out by processing the visual characteristics of the Opak Bukit Mengger Fault, such as crack patterns, rock layers, and grain textures, then combined with the characteristics of the Nitik Batik motif through stylization techniques. The exploration results produce five Nitik Batik motifs which are then applied to the product.shirt jacketCasual style. The product is made using cotton fabric soft denimas the main material combined with stylized Batik Nitik patterned cloth, plain cotton cloth with variations in color and texture, and lining super lining. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Batik Nitik motif exploration results on casual clothing jackets received a "very good" rating in all assessment aspects. This study concludes that the processing of the Batik Nitik motif through stylization can be an alternative innovation in developing Batik Nitik into more functional men's casual clothing and in line with the development of Gen Z fashion styles.
