Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks narasi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence pada siswa kelas V SDN Karet 01 Pagi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 30 siswa kelas V SDN Karet 01 Pagi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks narasi siswa. Pada Siklus I, nilai rata-rata kelas mencapai 72,4 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 63,33% (19 siswa). Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada Siklus II melalui pemberian kata kunci yang lebih terarah, penguatan struktur teks narasi, time reminder, serta pendampingan yang lebih intensif, nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 80,7 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 83,33% (25 siswa). Dari 11 siswa yang belum tuntas pada Siklus I, 6 siswa berhasil mencapai KKM, sedangkan 5 siswa lainnya mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar meskipun belum mencapai KKM. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Concept Sentence efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks narasi pada siswa kelas V SDN Karet 01 Pagi. ***** This study aimed to improve the narrative writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Karet 01 Pagi through the implementation of the Concept Sentence learning model. This study employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was conducted in two cycles. The research participants consisted of 30 fifth-grade students at SDN Karet 01 Pagi. The results showed that the implementation of the Concept Sentence learning model effectively improved students' narrative writing skills. In Cycle I, the class achieved an average score of 72.4, with a classical learning mastery of 63.33% (19 students). After improvements were made in Cycle II through the use of more structured keywords, reinforcement of narrative text structure, time reminders, and more intensive guidance, the average class score increased to 80.7, with a classical learning mastery of 83.33% (25 students). Of the 11 students who had not achieved the Minimum Mastery Criterion (MMC) in Cycle I, 6 students successfully achieved the criterion in Cycle II, while the remaining 5 students showed improvement despite not yet meeting the MMC. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Concept Sentence learning model was effective in improving the narrative writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Karet 01 Pagi.
