Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran tari pendidikan untuk menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif melalui tahap eksplorasi pada anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Pertiwi Abhilasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Fokus penelitian meliputi proses perencanaan pembelajaran tari pendidikan dalam pemilihan tema dan media, pelaksanaan tahap eksplorasi berdasarkan media yang digunakan guru, serta respons kognitif anak selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tari pendidikan di TK Pertiwi Abhilasa menekankan proses eksplorasi dan menempatkan anak sebagai subjek aktif, sedangkan guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang memberikan stimulus melalui media dan pertanyaan pemantik. Tema pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan kegiatan sekolah dan kebutuhan pembelajaran. Media yang digunakan berupa video, musik, dan lagu sebagai stimulus dalam mengenalkan tema dan mengembangkan gerak anak. Pada tahap eksplorasi, anak diberikan kesempatan untuk mengamati, mengingat, menjawab pertanyaan, menghubungkan pengalaman dengan tema, serta menciptakan gerakan dengan imajinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya stimulasi pada tiga aspek kognitif, yaitu imajinasi, memori, dan berpikir simbolik. Anak mampu mengingat informasi, mengembangkan gagasan gerak, merepresentasikan pengalaman atau objek melalui gerakan, serta mengambil keputusan dalam kegiatan kelompok. Dengan demikian, penerapan pembelajaran tari pendidikan melalui tahap eksplorasi dapat menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Pertiwi Abhilasa. Kata kunci: Tari pendidikan, tahap eksplorasi, stimulasi kognitif, anak usia dini ***** This study aims to describe the implementation of educational dance learning to stimulate cognitive development through the exploration stage in children aged 5–6 years at Pertiwi Abhilasa Kindergarten. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research focused on the planning process of educational dance learning in selecting themes and media, the implementation of the exploration stage based on the media used by the teacher, and children’s cognitive responses during the learning activities. The results showed that educational dance learning at Pertiwi Abhilasa Kindergarten emphasized the exploration process and positioned children as active participants, while the teacher acted as a facilitator who provided stimuli through learning media and guiding questions. The learning themes were adjusted to school activities and learning needs. The media used included videos, music, and songs as stimuli to introduce themes and develop children’s movements. During the exploration stage, children were given opportunities to observe, recall information, answer questions, relate their experiences to the learning themes, and create movements based on their imagination. The results showed stimulation in three cognitive aspects, namely imagination, memory, and symbolic thinking. Children were able to recall information, develop movement ideas, represent experiences or objects through movement, and make decisions during group activities. Therefore, the implementation of educational dance learning through the exploration stage can stimulate the cognitive development of children aged 5–6 years at Pertiwi Abhilasa Kindergarten.
