Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian penciptaan ini mengangkat fenomena perbedaan keyakinan dalam lingkup domestik dengan menjadikan Surat Al-Kafirun sebagai landasan teologis utama. Nilai-nilai toleransi dan penghormatan terhadap keberagaman tanpa sinkretisme diinterpretasikan melalui karya seni lukis kaligrafi kontemporer bertajuk "Mozaik Keberagamaan". Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan estetika pixel art dan shaped canvas sebagai metafora visual yang merepresentasikan batas tegas akidah sekaligus keharmonisan hubungan manusia. Keunikan karya ini terletak pada pengintegrasian tokoh figuratif, yakni Imam Besar KH. Nasaruddin Umar dan Paus Fransiskus, sebagai simbol "Keluarga Besar Kemanusiaan". Proses operasional dilakukan melalui studi tafsir Al-Kafirun, eksplorasi Khat Kufi Manthiqi, serta eksperimen visual berbasis piksel yang menekankan keseimbangan antara keteraturan (akidah) dan keragaman (sosial). Karya ini merupakan refleksi atas pengalaman personal perupa sekaligus respon terhadap isu intoleransi global. Hasil penciptaan menunjukkan bahwa seni lukis kaligrafi tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai medium estetis, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen transformasi sosial dan ruang dialog kontemplatif mengenai moderasi beragama dalam masyarakat modern. Kata kunci: Kaligrafi Kontemporer, Surat Al-Kafirun, Mozaik Keberagamaan, Pixel Art, Keluarga Kemanusiaan. *** ABSTRACT This creative research examines the phenomenon of religious differences within the domestic sphere, using Surah Al-Kafirun as the primary theological foundation. The values of tolerance and respect for diversity without syncretism are interpreted through a contemporary calligraphy painting entitled "Mosaic of Religiousness." This research uses an aesthetic approach of pixel art and shaped canvas as a visual metaphor that represents the clear boundaries of faith and the harmony of human relationships. The uniqueness of this work lies in the integration of figurative figures, namely Grand Imam KH. Nasaruddin Umar and Pope Francis, as symbols of the "Great Family of Humanity." The operational process is carried out through a study of the interpretation of Al-Kafirun, an exploration of Manthiqi Kufic Khat, and pixel-based visual experiments that emphasize the balance between order (faith) and diversity (social). This work is a reflection of the artist's personal experience and a response to the issue of global intolerance. The creative results demonstrate that calligraphy painting functions not only as an aesthetic medium, but also as an instrument of social transformation and a space for contemplative dialogue regarding religious moderation in modern society.
