Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi latihan yang diterapkan oleh 4.13 Guitar Quartet dalam mempersiapkan pertunjukan di Jepang 2026. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan penilaian evaluasi kesiapan pertunjukan dengan menggunakan standar National Association for Music Education (NAfME) yang divalidasi melalui expert judgment. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi latihan kelompok disusun secara sistematis melalui penyusunan materi latihan berdasarkan target repertoar, pemanfaatan media latihan berupa partitur, metronom, tuner, serta dokumentasi, penerapan metode latihan seperti sectional rehearsal, drilling, slow practice, dan run-through, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan melalui diskusi, umpan balik, dan pengulangan bagian yang belum optimal. Hambatan yang muncul selama proses latihan diselesaikan melalui komunikasi antarpemain, penyesuaian jadwal, dan evaluasi bersama. Hasil validasi pakar menunjukkan bahwa strategi latihan yang diterapkan telah sesuai dengan praktik latihan ansambel gitar klasik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi materi, media, metode, evaluasi, dan penyelesaian hambatan membentuk strategi latihan yang efektif dalam mendukung kesiapan pertunjukan 4.13 Guitar Quartet pada pertunjukan di Jepang 2026. ***** This study aims to describe the rehearsal strategies implemented by the 4.13 Guitar Quartet in preparing for performances in Japan in 2026. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and a performance readiness assessment based on the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) standards, which were validated through expert judgment. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and source triangulation. The findings indicate that the ensemble's rehearsal strategy was systematically developed through the organization of rehearsal materials based on repertoire targets, the use of rehearsal media including musical scores, metronomes, tuners, and documentation, the implementation of rehearsal methods such as sectional rehearsal, drilling, slow practice, and run-through, as well as continuous evaluation through discussions, feedback, and repeated practice of sections that had not yet reached the expected standard. Challenges encountered during the rehearsal process were addressed through communication among members, schedule adjustments, and collaborative evaluation. Expert validation confirmed that the rehearsal strategies implemented were consistent with common practices in classical guitar ensemble rehearsals. The findings demonstrate that the integration of rehearsal materials, media, methods, evaluation, and problem-solving strategies forms an effective rehearsal strategy in supporting the performance readiness of the 4.13 Guitar Quartet for its performances in Japan in 2026.
