Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di Sekolah Dasar, khususnya pada muatan Pendidikan Pancasila. Siswa cenderung belum mampu mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari akibat proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada pendidik (teacher-centered). Selain itu, model pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang variatif, sehingga siswa kurang terlibat aktif dan belum berani mengemukakan pendapatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectually) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimen tipe Pretest-Posttest Non-equivalent Control Group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model SAVI dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai zhitung lebih tinggi dibanding ztabel, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectually) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. ***** This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of elementary school students, particularly in Pancasila Education. Students are not yet able to implement Pancasila values in their daily lives due to teacher-centered learning processes. Furthermore, the learning models used lack variety, causing students to be less actively involved and hesitant to express their opinions. This study aims to determine the effect of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectually) learning model on students' critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education for fourth grade elementary school students. The research methodology employed a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a Pretest-Posttest Non-equivalent Control Group setup. The research sample consisted of an experimental class taught using the SAVI model and a control class taught using the AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition) model. Data were collected through critical thinking skill tests and analyzed using statistical tests. Based on the data analysis, the hypothesis testing yielded z-value was significantly higher than the critical table value, leading to the rejection of H0. It can be concluded that the SAVI learning model significantly affects and improves the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade elementary school students in Pancasila Education.
