Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran IPS tentang Sumber Daya Alam melalui pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning di Kelas IV SDN Menteng Atas 01 Pagi Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Menteng Atas 01 Pagi, Kecamatan Setia Budi, Jakarta Selatan, Khususnya di kelas IV. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan Metode Siklus Putaran yang mengacu pada model PTK Stephen Kemmis dan Robin Mc Taggart, banyaknya siklus ada 2 yaitu Siklus I dan Siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran guru dan siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning pada setiap Siklusnya mengalami peningkatan dan telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan yang ingin dicapai. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning pada siklus I adalah 67.84 %, sedangkan pada siklus II sudah mencapai 96.42 %. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang telah dicapai selama diadakan penelitian adalah pada siklus I adalah 7 sedangkan pada siklus II adalah 8. Implikasinya adalah jika pendekatan Contextual teaching and Learning digunakan dalam setiap mata pelajaran sangat bagus karena siswa akan lebih menikmati proses belajar sehingga hasil belajar yang diinginkan akan tercapai ***** The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is improvement of the quality of teaching social studies through the approach of Natural Resources Contextual Teaching and Learning in Class IV SDN Menteng Jakarta Setiabudi Top 01 Morning South. This research was conducted at SDN Menteng Top 01 morning, District Setia Budi, South Jakarta, in particular in the fourth grade. This research was conducted with the Cycle method that refers to the round of TOD model Stephen Kemmis and Robin Mc Taggart, many cycles there are two of Cycle I and Cycle II. The results showed that the quality of teacher and student learning by using Contextual Teaching and Learning at each cycle was increased and have reached the criteria for success to be achieved. On the implementation of learning by using Contextual Teaching and Learning in the first cycle was 67.84%, while in the second cycle has reached 96.42%. While the average value that has been achieved during the study is held on the first cycle is 7 while in the second cycle is 8. The implication is that if Contextual teaching and learning approaches used in each subject is very good because students will likely enjoy the learning process so that the desired learning outcomes will be achieved.
