Abstract

Ajaran budaya yang diwarisi secara turun temurun kepada masyarakat telah menjadi suatu prinsip dalam kehidupan masyarakat budaya. Ajaran – ajaran yang disampaikan oleh para leluhur nampaknya juga masih dijaga oleh masyarakat desa Ciptagelar. Kemudian bagaimana ketika ajaran Islam masuk dan beradptasi di tengah masyarakat yang kental dengan sistem adat dan budaya lokalnya. Tentu ajaran Islam harus mampu beradaptasi dengan kondisi tersebut, terlebih lagi dakwah Islam yang dilakukan oleh Rasulullah di jazirah Arab pun terkadang menyesuaikan perilaku serta kebiasaan masyarakat Arab pada masa itu. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses akulturasi yang terjadi, serta apa pengaruh Islam dalam masyarakat Ciptagelar Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Studi Lapangan dan didukung dengan studi kepustakaan, dengan pendekatan Deskriptif kualitatif. Peneli. Kemudian literature tersebut diolah dan di analisis sesuai kebutuhan penelitian. Landasan teori yang digunakan ialah teori Agama, Akulturasi Budaya serta Kebudayaan dalam Islam. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perubahan yang cukup signifikan dalam segi kepercayaan Masyarakat Ciptagelar serta proses akulturasi antara ajaran Islam dengan Budaya Lokal Masyarakat Ciptagelar seperti adanya ritual adat yang diberi corak islam yaitu Sedekah Mulud, Sedekah Ruwah, Beberes Bengkong, Boboran Saum, Serta Boboran Haji. Tradisi atau ritual ini mucul ketika islam berkembang di tengah Masyarakat Ciptagelar dan masih dijalankan hingga saat ini. Bahkan sejak islam masuk dan bekembang di Ciptagelar, Islam menjadi agama mayoritas. Walaupun masih terdapat masyarakat yang meyakini ajaran Sunda Wiwitan. Cultural teachings that have been passed down from generation to generation have become a principle in the life of cultural communities. The teachings conveyed by the ancestors also seem to be guarded by the Ciptagelar village community. Then what about when Islamic teachings enter and adapt in a society that is thick with its local customary and cultural systems. Of course, the teachings of Islam must be able to adapt to these conditions, moreover, the preaching of Islam carried out by the Messenger of Allah in the Arabian peninsula sometimes adjusted the behavior and habits of the Arab community at that time. The purpose of this study was to determine the acculturation process that occurred, as well as the influence of Islam in the Ciptagelar society This research applies the field study method and is supported by a literature study, with a qualitative descriptive approach. Researchers. Then the literature is processed and analyzed according to research needs. The theoretical basis used is the theory of Religion, Acculturation and Culture in Islam. Based on the data analysis that has been done, it is concluded that there is a significant change in terms of the beliefs of the Ciptagelar Community and the acculturation process between Islamic teachings and the Local Culture of the Ciptagelar Community, such as the existence of traditional rituals given an Islamic style, namely Sedekah Mulud, Sedekah Ruwah, Beberes Bengkong, Boboran Saum, as well as Boboran Haji. This tradition or ritual emerged when Islam developed in the Ciptagelar Society and is still being carried out today. Even since Islam entered and developed in Ciptagelar, Islam has become the majority religion. Although there are still people who believe in Sundanese Wiwitan teachings.
