Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh safety leadership, safety communication dan safety commitment dengan safety behavior. Disamping itu untuk menganalisis apakah safety climate dapat memediasi hubungan safety leadership dengan safety behavior, safety communication dengan safety behavior dan safety commitment dengan safety behavior untuk menemukan model safety behavior. Hipotesis empirik yang telah diuji dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak AMOS 24. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan data empirik yang diperoleh dari hasil jawaban kuesioner dari 342 karyawan dengan jumlah populasi karyawan PT GMF AeroAsia yang berjumlah 2.400, yang tersebar di homebase Cengkareng, dan multibase wilayah Kalimantan, Bali & Nusa Tenggara, Sumatra, Sulawesi & Timur, dan Jawa. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang ada di homebase Cengkareng, dan multibase wilayah Kalimantan, Bali & Nusa Tenggara, Sumatra, Sulawesi & Timur, dan Jawa PT. GMF AeroAsia Tbk. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proporsional sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis model persamaan structural. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif yaitu angka rata-rata dan indeks persepsi menunjukkan bahwa karyawan yang tersebar di homebase Cengkareng, dan multibase wilayah Kalimantan, Bali & Nusa Tenggara, Sumatra, Sulawesi & Timur, dan Jawa PT. GMF AeroAsia Tbk pada masing masing konstruk tergolong setuju. Hasil analisis full structural equation model menunjukkan model dapat diterima secara keseluruhan memenuhi syarat berdasarkan indeks goodness of fit. Hipotesis kausalitas yang dikembangkan dan telah diuji dengan menggunakan uji Critical Ratio dalam program AMOS diperoleh hasil yang signifikan yaitu semua hipotesis teruji/diterima. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan sebagai berikut (1) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif safety leadership, safety communication, dan safety commitment terhadap safety climate, (2) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif safety leadership, safety communication, safety commitment, dan safety climate terhadap safety behavior, (3) terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung positif safety leadership, safety communication, dan safety commitment terhadap safety behavior melalui safety climate sebagai mediasi. Terdapat bukti empiris dan temuan baru bahwa adanya safety commitment yang baik dari manajemen mampu meningkatkan safety behavior melalui safety climate. Hasil uji mediasi diperoleh safety climate mediasi parsial. Artinya safety commitment dapat mempengaruhi safety behaviour secara langsung dan dapat dimediasi oleh safety climate. Koefisien arah pengaruh diperoleh nilai positif bahwa safety climate yang baik dapat meningkatkan safety behavior karyawan. Hasil temuan baru ini diperkuat dari data nilai koefisen tertinggi. Dengan kata lain, novelty dari penelitian ini disebut juga sebagai penemuan model peningkatan safety behavior para peneliti yang dimoderasi oleh safety climate melalui jalur safety commitment. Kata Kunci: safety leadership, safety communication, safety commitment, safety climate dan safety behavior   Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of safety leadership, safety communication and safety commitment with safety behavior. Besides that, to analyze whether safety climate can mediate the relationship between safety leadership and safety behavior, safety communication with safety behavior and safety commitment with safety behavior to find a model of safety behavior.. Empirical hypotheses that have been tested using AMOS 24 software. Hypothesis testing is carried out using empirical data obtained from the results of questionnaire answers from 342 employees with a total population of 2,400 PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk employees, spread across the Cengkareng homebase and multibase areas of Kalimantan, Bali & Nusa Tenggara, Sumatra, Sulawesi & East, and Java. Respondents in this study were employees in the Cengkareng homebase and multibase areas of Kalimantan, Bali & Nusa Tenggara, Sumatra, Sulawesi & East, and Java PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk. The sampling technique used is proportional sampling. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation modeling. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis are the average number and the perception index showing that employees are spread across the Cengkareng homebase and multibase areas of Kalimantan, Bali & Nusa Tenggara, Sumatra, Sulawesi & East, and Java PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk in each construct is classified as agreed. The results of the full structural equation model analysis show that the overall acceptable model meets the requirements based on the goodness of fit index. The causality hypothesis that was developed and tested using the Critical Ratio test in the AMOS program obtained significant results in that all hypotheses were tested / accepted. This study produces the following conclusions: (1) there is a positive direct effect on safety leadership, safety communication, and safety commitment on safety climate, (2) there is a positive direct effect on safety leadership, safety communication, safety commitment, and safety climate on safety behavior, (3) there is an indirect effect positive safety leadership, safety communication, and safety commitment to safety behavior through safety climate as mediation. There is empirical evidence and new findings that a good safety commitment from management is able to increase safety behavior through a safety climate. The results of the mediation test obtained partial safety climate mediation. This means that safety commitment can directly affect safety behavior and can be mediated by the safety climate. The coefficient of the direction of influence obtained a positive value that a good safety climate will increase safety behavior. These new findings are confirmed by the highest coefficient data. In other words, the novelty of this research is also referred to as the discovery of a model for increasing the safety behavior of researchers which is moderated by the safety climate through the safety commitment path.
