Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh hardiness terhadap stres pada mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Psikologi Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang mengerjakan skripsi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 154 mahasiswa yang diperoleh menggunakan simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen penelitian, yaitu instrumen stres dan instrumen hardiness. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis satu prediktor untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara hardiness terhadap stres dalam mengerjakan skripsi pada mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Psikologi Angkatan Tahun 2016. Konstanta variabel hardiness adalah sebesar 83,179, untuk koefisien regresi variabel hardiness diperoleh sebesar -0,368. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa pengaruh hardiness terhadap stres bersifat negatif. Indeks korelasi ganda (R) yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 0,089 dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0,298. Hasil R Square tersebut menunjukkan bahwa variabel hardiness mempengaruhi variabel stres sebanyak 8,9% dan 91,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Data collection techniques used two research instruments, namely the stress instrument and the hardiness instrument. This research uses quantitative methods with one predictor analysis to test the research hypotheses. The results of data analysis showed that there was an influence between hardiness on stress in doing thesis in students of Faculty of Psychology Education force by 2016. The hardiness variable constant is 83,179, for the hardiness variable regression coefficient is -0,368. From these results it can be seen that the influence of hardiness on stress is negative. The multiple correlation index (R) obtained was 0.089 with an R Square value of 0.298. The R Square results show that the hardiness variable influences the stress variable as much as 8.9% and 91.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
