Abstract
Hasil belajar siswa pada materi plantae adalah perubahan tingkah laku siswa pada aspek kognitif yang terjadi setelah adanya proses pembelajaran plantae. Hasil belajar siswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain seperti student engagement dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan student engagement dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa pada materi plantae. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 38 Jakarta pada semester II tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan teknik survei melalui studi korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 100 siswa kelas X MIPA. Hasil uji prasyarat diketahui bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear, uji linearitas, dan uji koefisien korelasi pada pada α = 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat kuat antara student engagement dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa pada materi plantae. Dengan hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan student engagement dan motivasi belajar dalam diri siswa agar hasil belajar yang diperoleh menjadi lebih baik. Students learning outcomes on plantae is a change in student behavior on cognitive aspect that occurs after the plantae learning process. Students learning outcomes can be affected by several factors such as student engagement and learning motivation. This study aimed to determine the correlation between student engagement and learning motivation with students learning outcomes on plantae. This research was conducted at SMAN 38 Jakarta on the 2nd semester of 2019/2020 school year. The method that was used is descriptive with survey techniques through correlational study. The samples were 100 students of class X MIPA. The result of prerequisite test finds that the data are normally distributed and homogeneous. Data were analyzed by linear regression test, linearity test, and correlation coefficient test at α = 0,05. Based on these results, it is concluded that there is a very strong positive relationship between student engagement dan learning motivation with students learning outcomes on plantae. From the results of this study, it can be seen that efforts are needed to increase student engagement and learning motivation in students to produce better learning outcomes.
