Abstract

The purpose of this thesis was to examine the relationship between the students' ability to conduct self-regulated learning and the learning outcomes of IPS students at Al-Kamal Junior High School, West Jakarta. This thesis used a quantitative method with correlational research. The data analysis of this thesis was based on the Spearman rank correlation technique. The sample in this thesis was 38 people consisting of class VIII-A and VIII-B, the technique used was total sampling. The results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.799 with a value of p = 0.00 (p < 0.05) indicating a significant and very strong relationship. In conclusion shows that the higher the ability of self-regulated learning, the higher the social studies learning outcomes. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan kemampuan self-regulated learning dengan hasil belajar IPS kelas VIII SMP Al- Kamal Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan penelitian korelasional. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi rank spearman. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 38 orang terdiri dari kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B, teknik yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data di dapatkan koefisiensi korelasi sebesar 0,799 dengan nilai p = 0,00 (p < 0,05) menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan dan sangat kuat. Disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi kemampuan self-regulated learning, maka akan semakin tinggi pula hasil belajar IPS. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima.
