Abstract
ABSTRAK Dita Afriyani. 2021. Perwujudan Kisah Biduan Dangdut Dengan Sisi Kelam Kehidupan Melalui Karya Tari Sesal. Laporan penulisan hasil karya seni, Program Studi Pendidikan Tari, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Tujuan karya tari ini ingin menyampaikan tentang penyesalan biduan Dangdut di atas panggung dengan goyangan erotis, saweran, dan pandangan buruk masyarakat yang dituangkan ke dalam sebuah karya tari untuk memenuhi syarat ujian Strata-1 Program Studi Pendidikan Tari Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Selain untuk memenuhi syarat tugas akhir. Metode yang digunakan dalam karya tari Sesal menggunakan metode penciptaan Alma M Hawkins yang berjudul Moving from Within: A New Method for Dance Making dan diterjemahkan oleh I Wayan Dibia di dalam bukunya yang berjudul Bergerak Menurut Kata Hati. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Penciptaan karya tari ini dipentaskan di dalam ruangan dengan mengatur backdrop berwarna hitam serta pencahayaan yang mendukung dikarenakan pembuatan karya tari dilaksanakan saat pandemik Covid-19. Tari Sesal berdurasi 15 menit dengan 5 adegan. Gerak-gerak yang dihasilkan pada karya yang dikembangkan dari gerak tradisi Betawi menjadi gerak-gerak kreasi baru yang sesuai dengan tema. Dalam penciptaan karya tari ini melibatkan 2 orang penari, dimana keduanya menjadi satu tokoh utama biduanita yang sama sehingga pesan yang ingin disampaikan dalam karya tari ini terwujud. Report on the writing of artworks, Dance Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, State University of Jakarta. This dance work aimed to convey the remorse of the Dangdut singer on stage with erotic shakes, slashing, and the bad views of the community that are poured into a dance work to fulfill the requirements for the Strata-1 exam for Dance Education Study Program, Jakarta State University. In addition to meeting the requirements for the final project. The method used in the Sesal dance work uses the Alma M Hawkins creation method entitled Moving from Within: A New Method for Dance Making and is translated by I Wayan Dibia in his book entitled Moving According to the Heart. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and literature study. This dance creation is staged indoors by setting a black backdrop and supporting lighting because the creation of dance works was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sesal Dance has a duration of 15 minutes with 5 scenes. The movements produced in the works developed from Betawi traditional movements into new creations that are in accordance with the theme. In the creation of this dance work involves 2 dancers, where both of them become the same main character of the songstress so that the message to be conveyed in this dance work is realized.
