Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji perihal televisi sebagai media pendidikan melalui TV Edukasi milik Pusdatin Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Adapun program yang menjadi pembahasan adalah program “Pasti Bisa” dan dikhususkan pada mata pelajaran sosiologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan subjek penelitian dengan 1 orang sutradara acara, 2 orang produser acara, 1 kepala bidang perancangan dan produksi, 1 guru, kepala TV Edukasi dan 4 siswa SMA. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Pusat Data dan Teknologi Informasi (Pusdatin) yang berlokasi di Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan pada bulan Februari sampai Agustus 2020. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh melalui program “Pasti Bisa” terdapat beberapa tahapan yang harus dilakukan untuk dapat memproduksi program ini, yakni dengan dilakukannya analisis kebutuhan dan pembuatan naskah yang masuk dalam tahapan praproduksi. Tahapan yang dilakukan selanjutnya adalah dilakukannya proses produksi dengan dilakukannya penyutingan dengan adanya narasumber atau guru terkait. Kedua adalah berkaitan dengan respon atau tanggapan siswa SMA mengenai program “Pasti Bisa”. Para siswa yang menjadi narasumber dalam penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa mereka diketahui belum pernah menyaksikan program “Pasti Bisa”, sehingga peneliti menyarankan siswa untuk menyaksikan tayangan berkaitan dengan materi sosiologi, hal ini untuk mengetahui reaksi mereka. Adapun materi sosiologi yang sudah diangkat menjadi tayangan ada 3 bab materi, yakni Perbedaan, Kesetaraan, dan Harmoni Sosial, Sosialisasi dan Pembentukan Kepribadian, dan Integrasi dan Reintegrasi Sosial. Diharapkan kedepannya sosialisasi dapat dilakukan lebih agar media pembelajaran “Pasti Bisa” dapat tersebar luaskan secara baik kepada seluruh siswa di Indonesia, serta dapat terus mengembangkan jumlah produksi untuk materi sosiologi. The purpose of this research is to examine television as an educational media through Pusdatin's Education TV from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The program under discussion is the "Pasti Bisa" program and is specialized in sociology subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research data were obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews with research subjects with 1 program director, 2 program producers, 1 leader of design and production, 1 teacher, leader of Education of Television, and 4 high school students. The location of the study was conducted at the Data and Information Technology Center (Pusdatin) located in Ciputat, South Tangerang in February until August 2020. The research results obtained through the "Pasti Bisa" program, there are several steps that must be done to be able to produce this program, namely by conducting a needs analysis and making the manuscript that is included in the preproduction stage. The next step is the production process by doing the editing in the presence of relevant speakers or teachers. The second is related to the responses of high school students regarding this program, because sociology is a subject that is at the high school level. Student information related to the analysis of the "Pasti Bisa" program starting from the concept of the program to the subject delivered. Based on the results of interviews with students, it was known that they had never seen the program "Pasti Bisa", so the researchers advised students to watch shows related to sociology material, this is to find out their reactions. There are 3 chapters of material on sociology, namely Perbedaan, Kesetaraan, dan Harmoni Sosial, Sosialisasi dan Pembentukan Kepribadian, dan Integrasi dan Reintegrasi Sosial. It is hoped that in the future more socialization can be carried out so that the learning media “Pasti Bisa" can be well disseminated to all students in Indonesia, and can continue to develop the amount of production for sociology material.
