Abstract
Sejarah lokal memiliki kegunaan edukatif, kegunaan inspiratif, kegunaan rekreatif dan kegunaan instruktiF. Sejarah lokal berguna merangsang mahasiswa untuk lebih mencintai daerahnya dan menumbuhkan cinta akan sejarah bangsanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana prosedur perencanaan program pembelajaran sejarah lokal pada program studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof Dr. Hamka, mengevaluasi permasalahan yang melingkupi program pembelajaran sejarah lokal dan menyusun upaya yang dapat dilakukan bagi perbaikan program pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Penelitian menggunakan metode illmuninative dengan pendekatan mix method. Wawancara dan observasi dilakukan kepada 50 mahasiswa yang sudah mengambil pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, hanya 12% yang mampu menguasai dan mengerti makna pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Hal tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sejarah lokal belum mencapai learning outcome. Hal ini mengindikasikan proses pembelajaran sejarah lokal di program studi Pendidikan Sejarah FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka belum maksimal. Hasil penelitian dapat menjadi acuan untuk melakukan evaluasi dan perubahan metode pembelajaran kepada pengajar.*********** Local history has educational uses, inspirational uses, recreational uses and instructional uses. Local history is also useful in stimulating students to love their region more and to foster love for the history of their nation. This study aims to evaluate how the planning procedure of a local history learning program in the History Education study program of the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka, evaluated the problems surrounding the local history learning program and made efforts that could be made to improve the local history learning program. This research used illmuninative method with a mix method approach. Interviews and observations were carried out on 50 students who had taken local history lessons. The results showed that only 12% were able to master and understand the meaning of local history learning. This shows that local history learning has not reached the learning outcome. This indicates the learning process of local history in the History Education study program of the FKIP Prof. Muhammadiyah University. Dr. Hamka is not optimal yet. The results of the research can be used as a reference for evaluating and changing learning methods for teachers.
