Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengembangkan media Sencub (Sensory cube) dalam menstimulasi keterampilan menulis permulaan anak usia 4- 5 tahun. (2) Mengetahui keefektivan dari produk pengembangan media Sencub (Sensory cube) dari penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan media ini adalah karya inovatif. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) . Responden pada penelitian pengembangan ini adalah ahli materi, ahli media serta anak usia 4- 5 tahun berjumlah 4 anak. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan mengimplementasikan media yang digunakan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Sencub (Sensory cube) dikembangkan melalui lima tahapan yaitu: a) Analyze; b) Design; c) Develop; d) Implement; e) Evaluate. Media Sencub (Sensory cube) sangat layak digunakan berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi dengan persentase sebesar 90% dan penilaian dari ahli media dengan persentase yang didapat sebesar 82.5%. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba small group pada anak usia 4-5 tahun persentase yang didapat sebesar 88.6% dengan kesimpulan sangat baik. This study aims to : (1) Develop the Sencub (Sensory cube) media in stimulating the pre writing skills of children aged 4- 5 years . (2) Knowing the effectiveness of the Sencub media development product (Sensory cube) from the assessment of material experts and media experts. This research is a development research. The method that is used to study the development of the media this is the innovative work. This development research uses the ADDIE model ( Analyze, Design , Develop, Implement, Evaluate ). Respondents in this development research were material experts, media experts and children aged 4- 5 years totaled 4 children . Collecting data in this study by implementing the media used in children aged 4-5 years.The results showed that the media Sencub (Sensory cube) developed through five stages , namely : a) Analyze; b) Design; c ) Develop; d) Implement; e) Evaluate. Sencub (Sensory cube) media is very feasible to use based on the assessment of material expert with a percentage of 90% and an assesnebt of media expert media with a percentage obtained of 82.5%. Based on the results of the test trial small groups on children aged 4-5 years the percentage obtained is 88.6% with very good conclusions.
