Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to discover the effect of competence and motivation toward the performance of Physical Education teachers in teaching at Public Islamic Senior High School throughout Jakarta Province during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to the PE teachers at the Public Islamic Senior High Schools in DKI Jakarta. The population used in this research was Physical Education teachers and the researcher applied the total sampling technique to select the samples. In conducting this research, there were 35 teachers involved as the object of this study. According to the type of research and data collection techniques that have been created, the data obtained has been analyzed and described based on the mean, standard deviation, minimum value, and maximum value. The result of the calculation reveals that the significance value for the simultaneous influence of X1 and X2 on Y is 0.04 <0.05 and the F value is 17.669> F, thus it can be concluded that H3 is accepted which indicates that there is a simultaneous effect of X1 and X2 on Y. Hence, it shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In conclusion, this study discovers that there is a positive and significant influence between the competence and motivation on the performance of the Physical Education teachers at the Public Islamic Senior High Schools in DKI Jakarta. Keywords: Teacher Competence, Motivation, Teacher Performance *********** ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru pendidikan jasmani dalam mengajar di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri se-DKI Jakarta pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada guru pendidikan jasmani madrasah Aliyah negeri se DKI Jakarta . Populasi yang digunakan adalah guru pendidikan jasmani, pengambilan sample dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan jumlah responden berjumlah 35 orang guru sebagai objek dari penelitian yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan jenis penelitian dan teknik pengumpulan data yang telah dibuat, makan data yang diperoleh telah dianalisis dan dideskripsikan berdasarkan mean, standard deviasi, nilai minimum, dan nilai maksimum. Berdasarkan output diketahui nilai signifikansinya untuk pengaruh X1 dan X2 secara simultan terhadap Y adalah sebesar 0.04 < 0.05 dan nilai F hitung 17.669 > F sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H3 diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh X1 dan X2 secara simultan terhadap Y. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi dan motivasi secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru penjas madrasyah Aliyah Negeri SE-Dki Jakarta.
