Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perkembangan dan proses penerapan yang telah dilakukan di sekolah dasar dalam menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan pada peserta didik, sesuai dengan kebijakan pemerintah yang membentuk Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Miles dan Huberman. Sumber data penelitian menggunakan 10 jurnal terdahulu dengan topik yang relevan dengan penelitian. Data-data tersebut dikaji dan dipaparkan dalam bentuk tabel dan deksripsi untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan terdapat 2 sekolah yang menggunakan strategi pelaksanaan Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional meliputi pengembangan kurikulum sekolah dan proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan 6 sekolah lainnya juga menerapkan strategi Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional dengan modifikasi kegiatan. Terdapat 1 sekolah yang menggunakan strategi pelaksanaan Endah Sulistyowati dengan pelaksanaan empat kegiatan yaitu belajar mengajar di kelas, budaya sekolah, ekstrakurikuler, dan kegiatan harian di rumah dan masyarakat. Sedangkan 1 sekolah dasar lainnya menggunakan strategi pelaksanaan Seriwati Bukit dan Widyasmara Madya yang meliputi kegiatan rutin sekolah, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan dan pengkondisian. Implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan yang diterapkan di 10 sekolah dasar telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan 6 dari 10 sekolah dasar mendapatkan predikat sebagai sekolah Adiwiyata. *********** This research aims to find out the implementation process of character education care for environment in elementary schools. The background of this research is to looking the development and implementation process that has been of elementary schools to foster the environmental character care in students, in accordance with government policies that form Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK). The research method used is literature research. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman. The research data source uses 10 previous journals with relevant topics to research. These data are reviewed and presented in tables and descriptions to get conclusions. Based on the analysis conducted there were 2 schools that use the implementation strategy of National Education Ministry including development of school curriculum and learning process. Meanwhile, about 6 other schools also implemented the National Education Ministrys strategy by modifying their activities. There is 1 school that uses Endah Sulistyowati implementation strategy with the implementation of four activities, namely teaching and learning in the classroom, school culture, extracurricular, and daily activities in the home and community. Meanwhile, 1 other elementary school uses Seriwati Bukit and Widyasmara Madya implementation strategy which includes routine school activities, spontaneous activities, accuracy and conditioning. The implementation of environmental care character education implemented in 10 elementary schools has been well implemented and 6 out of 10 elementary schools have been awarded as Adiwiyata schools.
