Abstract
This study aimed at finding out and analyzing the effect of Cooperative Learning technique NHT and TGT And Critical Thinking Ability on the increase of IPS learning chievement. This study was conducted at SDN Ciwaruga 1 Of Government Parongpong West Bandung with factorial Experiment Treatment By Level 2x2 Design. The sample of this study consisted of 44 students that were selected by using Random Sampling. The pereparatian of data took 27% total of research sample. The data obtained were analyzed by ANAVA two path (Analysis of Varians) with F test, which was followed by Tukey test. The result of the study show the followings : (1) on the whole, the achievement of IPS of the students who studied by Cooperative Learning technique NHT was higher than those who studied by Cooperative Learning technique TGT, (2) the student who had high Critical Thinking Ability and studied by Cooperative Learning technique NHT had higher on IPS learning achievement than those who had high Critical Thinking Ability and studied by Cooperative Learning technique TGT, (3) the student who had low Critical Thinking Ability and studied by Cooperative Learning technique TGT had higher on IPS learning achievement than those who had low critical thinking ability and studied Cooperative Learning technique NHT and (4) there was an interaction effect between the use of Cooperative Learning technique and Critical Thinking Ability. From the result of the study, it can be concluded that the Cooperative Learning technique NHT And Critical Thinking Ability effected the increase of learning achievement in IPS teaching and learning at SDN Ciwaruga 1 Of Government Parongpong West Bandung Some implications of this study were : 1) the Cooperative Learning technique NHT and TGT must be used in learning IPS and 2) in applying Cooperative Learning technique NHT and TGT, one should consider the Critical Thinking Ability. ************ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh teknik pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dan Teams Games Tournament (TGT) ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Ciwaruga 1 Kec. Parongpong Kab. Bandung Barat dengan menggunakan rancangan Eksperimen Faktorial Treatment by level 2X2. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 44 siswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Pengolahan data diambil dari 27% sampel kelompok atas dan kelompok bawah. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan analisis varians (ANAVA) dua jalur melalui uji F dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitiannya adalah : (1) secara keseluruhan, hasil belajar IPS siswa yang belajar dengan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif NHT lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang belajar dengan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif TGT, (2) untuk siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi, hasil belajar siswa yang belajar dengan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif teknik NHT lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang belajar dengan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TGT, (3) untuk siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah, hasil belajar IPS siswa yang belajar dengan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif TGT lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang belajar dengan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif teknik NHT dan (4) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara teknik pembelajaran kooperatif dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. Dari hasil temuan penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa teknik pembelajaran kooperatif dan kemampuan berpikir kritis berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas V SDN Ciwaruga 1 Kec. Parongpong Kab. Bandung Barat Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi antara lain : 1) teknik pembelajaran kooperatif NHT dan TGT perlu dipertimbangkan untuk dilaksanakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPS, dan 2) penerapan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif NHT dan TGT hendaknya mempertimbangkan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
