Abstract

This study generally aims to determine the effect of Learning Method and Logical Thinking Ability Against Natural Sciences Learning Outcomes. This research is quantitative. The research model used in this study is the experimental model. While the design was a 2x2 treatment by level design and the research hypotheses were tested using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Data were collected using a test instrument. The sample was a public school. The selection of the sample using random sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The results of students studying science learning with learning methods Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) is higher than the results of students studying science learning with Cooperative learning methods, (2) There is an interaction effect between learning methods and ability to think logically toward science learning outcomes of primary school students, (3) the results of science learning among groups of students who take learning with learning methods Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) is higher than in the group learning outcomes of students who take learning with cooperative learning method on students who have high logical thinking ability; (4) science learning outcomes between groups of students who take learning with learning methods Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) is lower than in group learning outcomes of students who take learning with cooperative learning method on students who have the ability to think logically low. Based on the results of this study concluded that the method of learning and the ability to think logically influence on science learning outcomes of students. Recommendations for teachers is to apply the methods of learning Contextual Teaching Learning as a way to improve student learning outcomes. *********** Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran dan Kemampuan Berpikir Logis Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Model penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Model ekperimen. Sedangkan desainnya adalah desain treatment by level 2 x 2 dan hipotesis penelitian ini diuji menggunakan analisis varians dua jalan (ANAVA). Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes. Sampel penelitian ini adalah satu sekolah negeri. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil-hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Hasil belajar IPA siswa yang belajar dengan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar IPA siswa yang belajar dengan metode pembelajaran Cooperative, (2) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir logis terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa SD, (3) hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode pembelajaran Cooperative pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis tinggi; (4) hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) lebih rendah dari pada hasil belajar kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode pembelajaran Cooperative pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir logis berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa. Rekomendasi bagi guru adalah agar menerapkan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa
