Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara obesitas dengan kadar asam urat dalam darah pada lanjut usia di Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial Lanjut Usia Budhi Dharma Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 Juli 2019 di Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial Lanjut Usia Budhi Dharma Bekasi yang beralamat di Jl. Hm. Djoyomartono No 24, Margahayu, Kec. Bekasi Timur, Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat 17113, dengan sampel 24 orang lanjut usia laki-laki dan perempuan diatas 60 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan teknik bivariate correlation, yaitu teknik analisis untuk mengetahui hubungan antardua variabel. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah timbangan berat badan, meteran tinggi badan, dan alat pengukur kadar asam urat. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah “r” Product Moment. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa r-hitung (0,864) lebih dari r-tabel (0,404) yang berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara obesitas dengan kadar asam urat dalam darah pada lanjut usia di Balai Rehabilitasi Sosial Lanjut Usia Budhi Dharma Bekasi. ************ This research aims to determine the relationship between obesity and blood uric acid levels in the elderly at the Budhi Dharma Elderly Social Rehabilitation Center in Bekasi. This research was carried out on July 9, 2019 at the Budhi Dharma Bekasi Social Rehabilitation Center located at Jl. Hm. Djoyomartono No 24, Margahayu, East Bekasi Sub-district, Bekasi City, West Java 17113, with a sample of 24 elderly men and women over 60 years. The method used in this study is a survey method with bivariate correlation technique, which is an analysis technique to find out the relationship between two variables. The tools used in this study were weight scales, height meters, and gauges for uric acid levels. The data analysis technique of this research is the "r" Product Moment. The results of this study concluded that the r-count (0.864) is more than r-table (0.404) which means that there is a strong relationship between obesity and blood uric acid levels in the elderly at the Budhi Dharma Elderly Social Rehabilitation Center in Bekasi.
