Abstract

Abstrak: Akupunktur merupakan pengobatan tusuk jarum pada bagian tubuh tertentu yang bermanfaat dalam mengobati berbagai penyakit salah satunya yaitu mengatasi kerontokan rambut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana persepsi masyarakat terhadap manfaat akupunktur untuk mengatasi kerontokan rambut. Populasi penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang terapi akupunktur untuk mengatasi kerontokan rambut dengan jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 30 responden. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner tertutup untuk pengumpulan data, guna mendapat gambaran tentang indikator pengetahuan, kebutuhan, dan pengalaman masyarakat terhadap manfaat akupunktur untuk mengatasi kerontokan rambut. Pengujian instrumen dengan uji validitas menggunakan rumus Product Moment. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan presentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap manfaat akupunktur untuk mengatasi kerontokan rambut berdasarkan persepsi pengetahuan termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi dengan skor nilai 848, pada persepsi kebutuhan termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan skor nilai 699, dan persepsi pengalaman termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan skor nilai 1195. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap manfaat akupunktur untuk mengatasi kerontokan rambut dilihat dari berbagai indikator adalah tinggi (bermanfaat) dimana kerontokan rambut berkurang dan pertumbuhan rambut lebih baik. ******* Abstract: Acupuncture is an alternative therapy that involves inserting thin needles on certain body parts that is useful in treating various diseases, one of which is overcoming hair loss. This study aims to find out the extent of public perception of the benefits of acupuncture to overcome hair loss. The population in this study is the people who receive acupuncture therapy to overcome hair loss with the number of research samples is 30 respondents. This type of research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The method used in this study is the survey method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The instrument used is a closed questionnaire for data collection, to get an overview of the indicators of knowledge, needs, and experiences of society on the benefits of acupuncture to overcome hair loss. Instrument testing with validity test using Product Moment formula. Reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. The data analysis technique using a quantitative descriptive technique with a percentage. The results of this study shows that the public's perception of the benefits of acupuncture to overcome hair loss based on knowledge perception is included in the very high category with a score of 848, the perception of need is included in the high category with a score of 699, and the perception of experience is included in the high category with a score of 1195. It can be concluded that the public perception of the benefits of acupuncture to overcome hair loss seen from various indicators is high (helpful) where hair loss is reduced and hair growth is better.
