Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1). Hubungan koordinasi mata tangan terhadap Pukulan backhand drive, 2) Hubungan kecepatan kaki terhadap Pukulan backhand drive, 3) Hubungan koordinasi mata tangan dan kecepatan kaki secara bersama-sama terhadap pukulan backhand drive pada mahasiswa tenis meja FIK UNJ. Pengambilan data penelitian dilaksanakan tanggal 16 Juni 2021 yang bertempat di Hall A kampus B Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan Stadion Atletik Rawamangun Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan studi korelasi. Penelitian ini bersifat korelasional yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan variabel satu dengan yang lainnya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang mengambil mata kuliah teori dan praktrk tenis meja yang berjumlah 30 orang, dan sampelnya berjumlah 15 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Adapun instrumen tes koordinasi mata tangan menggunakan lempar tangkap bola tenis. Untuk tes kecepatan kaki menggunakan sprint 40 m dan untuk tes pukulan backhand drive menggunakan tes pukulan backhand drive dengan sasaran. Teknik analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah menggunakan uji t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara koordinasi mata tangan (X1) terhadap pukulan backhand drive (Y) yang ditunjukan dalam persamaan regresi Ŷ = 5,148 + 8,287X1 dengan koefisien korelasi nilai rx1y sebesar 0,528. 2) Terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara kecepatan kaki (X2) dengan pukulan backhand drive (Y) yang ditunjukkan dalam persamaan Ŷ = 144,758 + - 17,656X2 dengan koefisien korelasi nilai rx2y sebesar -0,585. 3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara koordinasi mata tangan (X1) dan kecepatan kaki (X2) terhadap pukulan backhand drive (Y) yang ditunjukkan dalam persamaan Ŷ = 96,749 + 5,068X1 + - 13,008X2 dengan koefisien korelasi Ry1-2 sebesar 0,650. The relationship of eye-hand coordination to the backhand drive, 2) The relationship of foot speed to the backhand drive, 3) The relationship between eye-hand coordination and foot speed together with the backhand drive in table tennis students FIK UNJ. The research data collection was carried out on June 16, 2021, which took place in Hall A, campus B, State University of Jakarta and the Rawamangun Athletic Stadium, East Jakarta. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a correlation study. This research is correlational, namely to find out how big the relationship between variables is with one another. The population in this study were students of the State University of Jakarta who took the theory and practice of table tennis, totaling 30 people, and the sample was 15 people using purposive sampling technique. The instrument for the eye-hand coordination test uses a tennis ball throwing and catching. For the foot speed test using a 40 m sprint and for the backhand drive test using a backhand drive test with a target. The statistical analysis technique used is the t test. The results of data analysis show that 1) There is a positive relationship between eye-hand coordination (X1) on the backhand drive (Y) which is shown in the regression equation = 5.148 + 8.287X1 with a correlation coefficient of rx1y value of 0.528. 2) There is a negative relationship between foot speed (X2) and backhand drive (Y) which is shown in the equation = 144.758 + - 17.656X2 with a correlation coefficient of -0.585 rx2y value. 3) There is a positive relationship between eye-hand coordination (X1) and foot speed (X2) on the backhand drive (Y) which is shown in the equation = 96.749 + 5.068X1 + - 13.008X2 with a Ry1-2 correlation coefficient of 0.650.
