Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan mengenai Peran Kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMA Negeri 17 Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sejak bulan Desember 2020 hingga Juni 2021 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, pengamatan, dan studi dokumentasi. Tahap analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, tampilan data dan verifikasi data. Pemerikasaan dan pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan melalui tahapan kreabilitas data, transferabilitas, dependabilitas dan konformabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peran kepala sekolah dalam melakukan perencanaan melibatkan pihak manajemen sekolah untuk menentukan visi dan misi sekolah selain itu dalam penyusunan program selama setahun juga melihat dari visi dan misi yang ada di sekolah. Selain itu untuk menentukan strandarisasi pencapaian tujuan Berdasarkan input dan output yang ada di dalam sekolah. input dan output yang diharapkan oleh sekolah dapat juga menentukan standarisasi pencapaian tujuan sesuai dengan 8 SNP. peran kepala sekolah dalam melakukan pengorganisasian melalui sistem kerja yang tertuang dalam hirarki struktur organisasi. Peran kepala sekolah sebagai pengawasan di SMA Negeri 17 Bekasi dilakukan dengan adanya pengawasan dari seluruh perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerkan mulai dari pengawasan program semester, pelaksanaan Proses belajar mengajar, dan RPP. This research aims to find out and describe the role of the principal in improving the quality of education at SMA Negeri 17 Bekasi. This research was conducted from December 2020 to June 2021 using qualitative approach and descriptive method. This research data collection technique uses interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis stage is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data display and data verification. Data validity and validity checking are carried out through the stages of data reliability, transferability, dependability and conformability. The results of this study showed that the principal in conducting planning involved the school management to determine the vision and mission of the school in addition to the preparation of the program for a year also saw from the vision and mission in the school. In addition to determining strandarization of achievement of objectives based on inputs and outputs in the school. inputs and outputs expected by schools can also determine the standardization of achieving goals in accordance with the 8 SNP. the role of the principal in organizing through the work system contained in the organizational structure hierarchy. headmaster in organizing through the work system contained in the hierarchy of organizational structure. The role of the principal as a supervisor at SMA Negeri 17 Bekasi is with the supervision of all planning, organizing, grinding starting from the supervision of semester programs, the implementation of the teaching and learning process, and RPP.
