Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kualitas pertemanan dengan kesepian pada dewasa awal selama pandemi Covid-19 di Jabodetabek. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan convenience sampling, melalui penyebaran kuesioner pada 308 subjek dewasa awal yang berusia 18-29 tahun di Jabodetabek. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen Friendship Qualities Scale (FQS) dan UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa nilai r = -0.371 dan nilai p = 0.000 < 0.05. Artinya terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara kualitas pertemanan dengan kesepian pada dewasa awal selama pandemi Covid-19 di Jabodetabek. ***** This study aims to observe the correlation between friendship quality and loneliness in young adults during the Covid-19 pandemic in Jabodetabek. The study uses quantitative approach as a method in conducting the study. Convenience sampling is used to collect the data by distributing questionnaires to 308 respondents of young adults aged 18 to 29 years in Jabodetabek. The measurement instrument used in this study were Friendship Qualities Scale (FQS) and UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3. Pearson's correlation coefficient is used to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the r-value = -0.371 and the p-value = 0.000 <0.05, which revealed that there is a significant negative relationship between the friendship quality and loneliness in young adults during the Covid-19 pandemic in Jabodetabek.
