Abstract
Variabel spiritual well-being diukur menggunakan alat ukur Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy – Spiritual Well-Being 12 (FACITSp 12) yang dicipta kembangkan oleh David Cella (1999) dan variabel kualitas hidup diukur menggunakan European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaires Core-30 (EORTC QLQ C-30) Versi 3.0 yang dicipta kembangkan oleh Tim EORTC Quality of Life. This study was conducted to determine the effect of spiritual well-being on the quality of life of the global health scale dimension, functional dimension, and symptom/problem dimensions of breast cancer patients in Indonesia. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach, namely a cross-sectional study. The sampling technique was carried out by using used trial sampling. Respondents in this study amounted to 72 breast cancer patients aged 18 and over, both breast cancer patients or breast cancer patients who had been declared clean of cancers by doctor. The spiritual well-being variable was measured by using The Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy – Spiritual Well-Being 12 (FACIT-Sp 12) which was created and developed by David Cella (1999) and the quality of life was measured using The European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaires Core-30 (EORTC QLQ C-30) Version 3.0 was created and developed by the EORTC Quality of Life group. The result of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between spiritual well-being on the quality of life in the dimensions of the global health scale, functional dimension, and symptom/problem dimensions of breast cancer patients in Indonesia.
