Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran self-efficacy karyawan yang terkena pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) akibat pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang terkena pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) akibat pandemi COVID-19. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 207 responden karyawan yang terkena pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) akibat pandemi COVID-19. Pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dan jenis teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner penelitian General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) yang dikembangkan oleh Schwarzer dan Jerusalem (1995), yang mengacu pada dimensi-dimensi self-efficacy yang dikemukakan oleh Bandura (1997). Reliabilitas skala self-efficacy adalah 0.936 yang dihitung menggunakan software SPSS dengan rumus Cronbach’s Alpha. Hasil data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karyawan yang terkena pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) akibat pandemi COVID-19 memiliki tingkat self-efficacy yang tinggi dengan mean sebesar 36.00. Hasil data penelitian menurut data demografi menunjukkan bahwa karyawan yang terkena pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) akibat pandemi COVID-19 yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dengan mean sebesar 36.26, berusia 43-47 tahun dengan mean sebesar 39.00, di PHK pada bulan 11 2020-02 2021 dengan mean sebesar 37.13, berstatus sudah menikah dengan mean sebesar 36.00, dan memiliki 4 anak dengan mean sebesar 36.22 memiliki tingkat self-efficacy yang tinggi. This study aims to describe the self-efficacy of employees who have been laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses quantitative research type. The population in this study were employees who were laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The sample taken was 207 employee respondents who were laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This sampling used non-probability sampling technique and the type of purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) research questionnaire developed by Schwarzer and Jerusalem (1995), which refers to the self-efficacy dimensions proposed by Bandura (1997). The reliability of the self-efficacy scale is 0.936 which is calculated using SPSS software with Cronbach's Alpha formula. The results of the research data show that employees who are laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic have a high level of self-efficacy with a mean of 36.00. The results of research data according to demographic data show that employees who are laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic are male with a mean of 36.26, aged 43-47 years with a mean of 39.00, were laid off in 11 2020-02 2021 with a mean of 37.13, married with a mean of 36.00, and having 4 children with a mean of 36.22 have a high level of self-efficacy.
