Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi lebih mendalam tentang penerapan nilai toleransi anak di lingkungan keluarga yang meliputi makna toleransi, penerapan nilai-nilai toleransi anak didalam keluarga, dan interaksi sosial termasuk pola asuh yang diterapkan kedua orang tua. Tempat dilaksanakan penelitian ini di Perumnas Rusun Bumi Indah Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah studi kasus. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada satu keluarga. Pengumpulan data diperoleh berdasarkan observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu masih kurangnya sosialisasi tentang nilai-nilai toleransi pada keluarga. Namun, secara tidak langsung penerapan nilai-nilai toleransi telah dilaksanakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Perwujudan nilai toleransi yang diterapkan oleh anak merupakan hasil dari pola asuh demokratis yang dianut oleh keluarga. This study aims to explore more in-depth information about the application of children's tolerance values in the family environment which includes the meaning of tolerance, the application of children's tolerance values in the family, and social interactions including parenting applied by both parents. The location of this research is Perumnas Flats Bumi Indah Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The method used in this research is a case study. The focus of this research is on one family. Data collection was obtained based on observations, interviews, field notes, and documentation. The result of this study is that there is still a lack of socialization about the values of tolerance in the family. However, indirectly the application of tolerance values has been implemented in everyday life. The embodiment of the value of tolerance applied by children is the result of democratic parenting adopted by the family.
