Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menafsirkan pesan tentang persahabatan dalam tanka karya Yosano Akiko pada bab Shirayuri, dengan mengidentifikasi penggunaan gaya bahasanya. Teori gaya bahasa yang digunakan adalah teori gabungan milik Keraf (2009) dan Tarigan (2013), sementara teori tentang persahabatan yang digunakan adalah teori milik Shimizu (1992). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan kajian stilistika sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik pustaka dan catat. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini berupa teknik analisis isi, teknik padan referensial, dan teknik hubung banding menyamakan (HBS). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 17 tanka dalam Shirayuri yang diidentifikasi mengandung pesan tentang persahabatan. Gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam tanka-tanka tersebut didominasi oleh gaya bahasa alusi, dengan temuan sebanyak 12 buah data. Gaya bahasa lain yang diidentifikasi yaitu metafora, metonimia, personifikasi, hiperbola, ellipsis, alegori, aliterasi, asonansi, erotesis, simile, sinekdoke, paradoks, dan pleonasme. Pesan tentang persahabatan yang ditemukan antara lain menerima sahabat apa adanya, kebersamaan dalam hal-hal sederhana, tidak mengingkari janji, mendorong sahabat kita untuk menjadi lebih berani, mencegah sahabat melakukan tindakan ceroboh dan tidak terpuji, menyadarkan sahabat kita atas hal-hal yang bisa dilakukannya dengan kemampuannya sendiri, membantu sahabat yang kesulitan, kesedihan dan kerinduan saat berpisah dengan sahabat, serta berbagi informasi meskipun sedang terpisah oleh jarak. This study aims to interpret the message about friendship in Yosano Akiko's tankas in the Shirayuri chapter, by identifying the use of its language style. The theory used in this study is the combined language style theory from Keraf (2009) and Tarigan (2013), along with Shimizu's (1992) friendship theory. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with literary stylistics approach. Data collection techniques used are literature review with note-taking techniques. The data analysis techniques used are content analysis, referential matching, and comparison techniques. As the result, this study identified 17 tankas that are containing messages about friendship in Shirayuri. The language style used in the tankas are dominated by allusive language style, with a total of 12 data found. Other language styles identified are metaphor, metonymy, personification, hyperbole, ellipsis, allegory, alliteration, assonance, erothesis, simile, synecdoche, paradox, and pleonasm. Messages about friendship found including accepting friends as they are, togetherness in simple things, not breaking promises, encouraging our friends to be more courageous, preventing friends from doing reckless and dishonest actions, making friends aware of the things they can do with their own abilities, helping friends when they are having difficulties, the sadness and longing when we're parted with our friends, and maintaining friendship by sharing information with each other.
