Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana wujud konflik yang dialami, bentuk mekanisme pertahanan yang digunakan, dan pengaruh mekanisme pertahanan terhadap konflik yang menimpa tokoh Naruse Jun dalam film Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi pustaka sebagai teknik dalam mengumpulkan teori-teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan juga teknik simak-catat sebagai teknik dalam mengumpulkan data dari film KokoSake. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori konflik milik Stanton dan teori mekanisme pertahanan serta pengaruhnya milik Sigmund Freud. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari analisis data, ditemukan bahwa tokoh Naruse Jun banyak mengalami konflik eksternal berupa konflik sosial, konflik tersebut berjenis konflik keluarga, konflik teman, dan juga konflik tetangga. Selain itu konflik lainnya yang dialami oleh Naruse merupakan konflik internal. Konflik-konflik tersebut merupakan akibat dari trauma yang terjadi pada Naruse di masa kecilnya. Selanjutnya untuk mengatasi konflik-konflik yang dialaminya ditemukan beberapa mekanisme pertahanan yang digunakan oleh tokoh Naruse diantaranya, represi, agresi, apatis, regresi, fantasi, rasionalisasi, dan proyeksi. Penggunaan mekanisme pertahanan tersebut tidak selalu baik, beberapa mekanisme pertahanan malah menambah masalah baru atau tidak menyelesaikan masalahnya, namun pada akhirnya Naruse berhasil mengatasi konflik-konflik yang dialaminya dan mengalahkan trauma masa kecilnya. The aim of this study was to determine what is the form of conflict experienced, the form of defense mechanism used, and the effect of the defense mechanism against the conflict that befell the character Naruse Jun in the Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda. This study uses a literary psychology approach. This study uses a literature study technique as a technique in collecting theories used in research and also a note-taking technique as a technique in collecting data from the KokoSake film. The collected data will be analyzed using Stanton's conflict theory and Sigmund Freud's theory of defense mechanisms and their effects. Based on the results of research from data analysis, it was found that Naruse Jun's character experienced a lot of external conflicts in the form of social conflicts, the conflicts were family conflicts, friend conflicts, and also neighbor conflicts. In addition, other conflicts experienced by Naruse are internal conflicts. These conflicts are the result of the trauma that happened to Naruse in her childhood. Furthermore, to overcome the conflicts he experienced, several defense mechanisms were found which were used by Naruse characters including, repression, aggression, apathy, regression, fantasy, rationalization, and projection. The use of these defense mechanisms is not always good, some defense mechanisms actually add new problems or do not solve the problem, but in the end Naruse managed to overcome the conflicts he experienced and overcome his childhood trauma.
