Abstract

ABSTRAK Lulu Kamilah. 2022. Visualisasi Kegiatan Berkebun dalam Karya Ilustrasi Digital pada Sweatshirt. Tugas Akhir. Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa. Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Perancangan dalam karya ini bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan kegiatan berkebun sebagai kegiatan yang positif dalam hal kesehatan fisik dan psikis dengan membuat tubuh serta jiwa lebih sehat. Pada masa pandemi ini dengan aturan pemerintah bahwa masyarakat harus berada di rumah, kegiatan berkebun menjadi tren sebagai pereda kejenuhan. Bahkan tidak sedikit rumah memiliki kebun walaupun berukuran kecil untuk menanam tanaman hias dan tanaman berbuah. Dalam era saat ini, pakaian yang sedang tren merupakan pakaian yang nyaman seperti loungewear khususnya sweatshirt. Sweatshirt merupakan andalan dari setiap lemari pakaian modern, popularitasnya yang berkelanjutan ini melintasi semua generasi dan latar belakang sosial. Berkembangnya sweatshirt menambahkan variasi baru dan berkembang dengan full print sehingga dalam karya ini perupa menggunakan teknik print digital. Rancangan ilustrasi dalam karya ini langsung mewujudkan kegiatan figur dengan jelas karena akan diterapkan pada sweatshirt dimana orang lain yang melihat akan langsung tahu ilustrasi seperti apa yang tertera dengan warna-warna serta tren fashion tahun 2022 kategori essentiality kemudian diaplikasikan dalam sweatshirt model cut-out dengan ditujukan pada wanita dewasa awal berusia 19 - 25 tahun. Penciptaan karya tugas akhir ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis research-led practice berdasarkan sumber bacaan, observasi, serta kuesioner. Penerapan research-led practice dalam hal ini berupa ilustrasi digital kegiatan berkebun yang diciptakan dengan cara meneliti tentang kegiatan berkebun terlebih dahulu. Secara garis besar, penciptaan karya tugas akhir ini memainkan suasana menggunakan gaya ilustrasi, karakter, objek, dan warna-warna di dalamnya. Hasil akhir dalam ilustrasi diterapkan pada lima karya sweatshirt bergaya casual dan unik dengan cerita dan warna yang berbeda. The design in this work aims to visualize gardening activities as a positive activity in terms of physical and psychological health by making the body and soul healthier. During this pandemic, with government regulations that people must stay at home, gardening activities are becoming a trend as a reliever of boredom. Not even a few houses have gardens even though they are small to grow ornamental plants and fruit trees. In the current era, clothes that are trending are comfortable clothes such as loungewear, especially sweatshirts. The sweatshirt is a mainstay of every modern wardrobe, its continued popularity across all generations and social backgrounds. The development of sweatshirts adds new variations and develops with full print so that in this work the artist uses digital printing techniques. The illustration design immediately manifests the activity of the figure clearly because it will be applied to a sweatshirt where other people who see it will immediately know what illustrations are written with colors and fashion trends in the 2022 essentiality category then applied to a cut-out sweatshirt with the aim of in early adult women aged 19 - 25 years. This final project uses descriptive qualitative research with the type of research-led practice based on reading sources, observations, and questionnaires. The application of research-led practice in this case is in the form of digital illustrations of gardening activities created by researching gardening activities first. Broadly speaking, the creation of this final project plays an atmosphere using the illustrations, characters, objects, and colors in it. The final result in the illustration is applied to five casual and unique style sweatshirts with different stories and colors.
