Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi romantisme dalam puisi C’est l’Extase Langoureuse dan Il Pleure dans Mon Cœur karya Paul Verlaine dan unsur-unsur romantisme apa sajakah yang terdapat dalam puisi C’est l’Extase Langoureuse dan Il Pleure dans Mon Cœur karya Paul Verlaine. Unsur-Unsur romantisme dalam penelitian ini merjuk pada teori romantisme Alain Vaillant meliputi, (1) unsur romantisme ketertarikan kepada alam, (2) Kesedihan atau perasaan sentimental, (3) Individualisme, (4) Eksotisme, dan (5) Primitivisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Data pada penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat dari setiap baris puisi C’est l’Extase Langoureuse dan Il Pleure dans Mon Cœur karya Paul Verlaine. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dan dibantu dengan tabel analisis berdasarkan sintesa teori dari Alain Vaillant (2012) dan Kinayanti Djojosuroto (2015). Tahapan dalam menganalisis data dimulai dari membaca data dan memahaminya terlebih dahulu. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu menyajikan data dalam tabel analisis yang diklasifikasikan menurut unsur romantisme yang sesuai kemudian menganalisis secara rinci dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari kedua puisi yang dianalisis ditemukan 30 kutipan yang mengandung 50 data unsur romantisme yang termasuk kedalam tiga unsur romantisme yang didapatkan dari kedua puisi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan 24 kutipan menandakan adanya unsur romantisme perasaan atau kesedihan yang direpresentasikan dengan kata atau frasa seperti pleure, langeure, la fatigue amoureuse, dsb. Kemudian unsur romantisme individualisme sebanyak 14 kutipan yang ditandai dengan kata atau frasa mon cœur, deuil, la mienne, dsb. dan 12 kutipan menandai adanya unsur romantisme ketertarikan pada alam direpresentasikan melalui kata atau frasa seperti pluie, bois, herbe, dsb. This study aims to find out how romanticism is represented in the poems C'est l'Extase Langoureuse and Il Pleure dans Mon Cœur by Paul Verlaine and to find out what elements of romanticism are contained in the poems C'est l'Extase Langoureuse and Il Pleure dans Mon Cœur by Paul Verlaine. The elements of romanticism in this study are based on Alain Vaillant's theory of romanticism. including (1) back to nature, (2) sadness or sentimental feelings, (3) individualism, (4) exoticism, and (5) primitivism. This research is a qualitative approach. The research method used in this research is content analysis method. The data in this study are words, phrases, and sentences from each line of the poems C'est l'Extase Langoureuse and Il Pleure dans Mon Cœur by Paul Verlaine. The instrument in this study was the researcher herself and was helped by an analysis table based on theoretical synthesis from Alain Vaillant (2012) et Kinayanti Djojosuroto (2015). The stages in analyzing the data start from reading the data and understanding it first. The next step is to present the data in an analysis table that is classified according to the appropriate romantic element, then analyze it in detail and draw conclusions. The results of this study indicate that from the two poems analyzed, 31 quotations containing 51 elements of romanticism were found, which are included in the three elements of romanticism obtained from the two poems. The results of the analysis show that 24 quotes indicate an element of romantic feeling or sadness represented by words or phrases such as pleure, langueur, la fatigue amoureuse, etc. Then the element of romanticism indivisualism consists of 15 quotations marked by the words or phrases mon cœur, deuil, la mienne, etc. and 11 quotes that indicate an element of romantic back to nature represented through words or phrases such as pluie, bois, herbe, etc.
