Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan jenis-jenis seksisme dalam komik Les Crocodiles. Dara penelitian ini berupa semua kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang di dalamnya mengandung bentuk seksisme yang terdapat dalam sumber data penelitian ini, yaitu komik Les Crocodiles karya Thomas Mathieu. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode simak oleh Sudaryono yang terdiri atas teknik dasar dan teknik lanjutan. Untuk menemukan jenis seksisme, maka dilakukan dengan menggunakan tabel kriteria analisis jenis- jenis seksisme menurut teori Glick & Fiske. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis seksisme yang terdapat dalam komik Les Crocodiles, terdiri atas Paternalisme Dominatif sejumlah 0 data, Pembedaan Jender Kompetitif sejumlah 9 data, Heteroseksual Agresif sejumlah 13 data, dan Paternalisme Pelindung sejumlah 7 data, kemudian Pembedaan Jender Pelengkap sejumlah 0 data, serta Heteroseksual Keintiman sejumlah 0 data, dengan total semuanya berjumlah 29 data. This research aims to describe the types of sexism in the comic Les Crocodiles. The data of this research are all words, phrases, and sentences which contain forms of sexism contained in the data source of this research, which is the comic Les Crocodiles by Thomas Mathieu. The data collection of this research was carried out by the method of listening by Sudaryono which consisted of basic techniques and advanced techniques. To find the types of sexism, it is done by using a table of criteria for the analysis of the types of sexism according to the theory of Glick & Fiske. The results of this study indicate that the types of sexism contained in Les Crocodiles comics consist of 0 data of Dominative Paternalism, 9 data of Competitive Gender Differentiation, 13 data of Hostile Heterosexuality, and 7 data of Protective Paternalism, then 0 data of Complementary Gender Differentiation, and 0 data of Heterosexual Intimacy for a total of 29 data.
