Abstract
Komitmen dosen pada organisasi merupakan bagian dari upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tinggi melalui implementasi tridarma perguruan tinggi yang menjadi kewajiban bagi tiap dosen. Dosen yang berkomitmen akan menunjukkan sikap dan perilaku yang positif terhadap lembaganya, berjiwa membela organisasi, meningkatkan prestasi, dan berusaha membantu mewujudkan tujuan organisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan analisis komitmen organisasi dosen yang dikaitkan dengan variabel kepribadian, kepemimpinan, dan motivasi kerja. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Universitas M.H. Thamrin di Jakarta. Populasi penelitian yaitu dosen yang berstatus sebagai tetap, dan sampel dipilih secara simple random sampling maka jumlah sample ditetapkan berdasarkan teknik Slovin yaitu sebanyak 129 dosen. Menggunakan metode survey dan analisis data melalui koefisien jalur serta uji t. Analisis koefisien jalur untuk mendeteksi ada tidaknya pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung antara variabel independent terhadap variabel dependent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kepribadian terhadap komitmen organisasi, 2) Terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kepemimpinan terhadap komitmen organisasi, 3) Terdapat pengaruh langsung positif motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi, 4) Terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung dan positif kepribadian terhadap komitmen organisasi melalui motivasi kerja, 5) Terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung dan positif kepemimpinan terhadap komitmen organisasi motivasi kerja, dan 6) Terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung dan positif kepribadian terhadap komitmen organisasi melalui kepemimpinan. Kata Kunci : Kepribadian, Kepemimpinan, Motivasi, Komitmen*****The commitment of lecturers to the organization is a part of efforts to improve the quality of higher education through the implementation of tri dharma of higher education which is an obligation for each lecturer. In other words, committed lecturers will perform positive attitudes and behaviors towards their institution, have the spirit to defend the organization, improve their achievements, and try to realize the goals of the organization. The purpose of this study is to analyze the organizational commitment of lecturers who are associated with some variables: personality, leadership, and work motivation. The study was conducted at M.H. Thamrin University, Jakarta. The population of this research is the home-based lecturer, and the sample is selected by simple random sampling, so the number of samples is determined based on the Slovin technique and that is 129. This research is using survey methods and data analysis through path coefficients and t-test. Path coefficient analysis is used to detect the influence of direct and indirect between independent variables on the dependent variables.The results of the research showed: 1) there was a positive direct effect on personality on organizational commitment, 2) there was a positive direct effect on leadership on organizational commitment, 3) there was a positive direct effect on work motivation on organizational commitment, 4) there was an indirect and positive influence on leadership on organizational commitment through work motivation,5) there was an indirect and positive influence on personality on organizational commitment through work motivation, and 6) there is an indirect and positive influence of personality on organizational commitment through leadership.
