Abstract

The study was conducted to analyze the effect of increasing the role of organizational communication, supervision and decision making on the performance of lecturers in Kediri, East Java. The writing uses a quantitative approach with Path Analysis (path analysis). Data was collected through a questionnaire that had been tested beforehand. This study examines the relationship between research variabels, and measures the effect of one variabel on another. In this study, there are four variabels to be studied, namely organizational communication, supervision, decision making and lecturer performance. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence between organizational communication and the performance of lecturers, this shows that if organizational communication goes well, the performance of lecturers will also increase. There is a positive influence between supervision on the performance of lecturers, this shows that if supervision is carried out properly, the performance of lecturers will increase. There is a positive influence between decision making on lecturer performance, this shows that if the decision making is good, the lecturer's performance will increase. There is a positive Indirect effect between organizational communication on decision making, this shows that if organizational communication goes well, lecturer's decision making will be more effective. There is a positive Indirect effect between organizational communication on supervision, this shows that if organizational communication goes well then supervision of lecturers does not need to exist. Keywords: Organizational communication, supervision, decision making, lecturer performance in Kediri, East Java.  ************** ABSTRAK Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh peningkatan peran komunikasi organisasi, pengawasan dan pengambilan keputusan terhadap kinerja dosen di Kediri Jawa Timur. Penulisan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Anlisis Jalur (path analisis). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang telah diujicobakan terlebih dahulu. Penelitian ini mengkaji keterkaitan antar variabel penelitian, serta mengukur pengaruh variabel satu dengan lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini ada empat variabel yang akan dikaji yaitu komunikasi organisasi, pengawasan, pengambilan keputusan dan kinerja dosen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada pengaruh positif antara Ada pengaruh positif antara komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja dosen, hal ini menunjukan bahwa jika komunikasi organisasi berjalan baik maka kinerja dosen juga akan semakin meningkat. Ada pengaruh positif antara pengawasan terhadap kinerja dosen, hal ini menunjukan bahwa jika pengawasan dilakukan dengan baik, maka kinerja dosen akan semakin meningkat. Ada pengaruh positif antara pengambilan keputusan terhadap kinerja dosen, hal ini menunjukan bahwa jika pengambilan keputusan baik, maka kinerja dosen akan semakin meningkat. Ada pengaruh tidak langsung positif antara komunikasi organisasi terhadap pengambilan keputusan, hal ini menunjukan bahwa jika komunikasi organisasi berjalan dengan baik maka pengambilan keputusan dosen akan semakin efektif. Ada pengaruh tidak langsung positif antara komunikasi organisasi terhadap pengawasan, hal ini menunjukan bahwa jika komunikasi organisasi berjalan baik maka pengawasan terhadap dosen tidak perlu ada.
