Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data di SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran, upaya serta strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan profesionalisme guru berbasis TIK. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari akhir bulan November 2020 sampai dengan pertengahan Januari 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber dari penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, guru bahasa Indonesia, guru bahasa Inggris, guru IPS dan siswa SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangat aktif dalam peningkatan profesionalisme guru berbasis TIK yang dimiliki oleh para guru, dan memiliki program kegiatan yang telah direncanakan oleh kepala sekolah dan telah disetujui oleh para guru. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinannya memiliki ciri khas kepemimpinan yang dirasakan oleh para guru SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta yaitu mengayomi dan tidak putus dalam memotivasi para guru dan pihak sekolah yang bersangkutan. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terealisasi dengan baik karena pendekatan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah yaitu komunikasi dan tanggap merespon keluhan dan kendala yang dialami para guru ataupun siswa pada saat pembelajaran berbasis TIK berlangsung. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan aktif dalam mengikutsertakan para guru untuk pelatihan, webinar, sertifikasi guru dan aktif dalam MGMP yang bertujuan meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinannya mendorong para guru untuk sesuai dengan tuntutan SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta dengan tujuan supaya prestasi dan label sekolah teladan di SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta tetap stabil dan berkembang. This study aims to obtain data at SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta which aims to determine the role, effort and leadership strategies of principals in an effort to increase the professionalism of ICT-based teachers. This research was conducted at the end of November 2020 to mid-January 2022. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The resource persons for this research were the principal represented by the vice principal for curriculum, Indonesian language teachers, English teachers, social studies teachers and students of SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta. The principal's leadership is very active in improving the professionalism of ICT-based teachers owned by teachers, and has a program of activities that have been planned by the principal and have been approved by the teacher. The principal's leadership in his leadership has leadership characteristics that are felt by teachers of SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta, namely nurturing and never giving up in motivating the teachers and the school concerned. The principal's leadership is realized well because the approach taken by the principal is communication and responsiveness in responding to complaints and obstacles experienced by teachers or students when ICT-based learning takes place. Principal leaders play an active role in involving teachers for training, webinars, teacher certification and are active in MGMP which aims to improve teacher professionalism. The principal in his leadership encourages teachers to meet the demands of SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta with the aim that the achievements and labels of excellent schools at SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta remain stable and develop.
