Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa komik digital serta menguji kelayakan media komik digital dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Baker and Schutz yang meliputi tujuh tahap yaitu Formulation, Instructional Specification, Prototype Item Tryout, Product Development, Product Tryout, Product Revision, dan Operation Analysis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDIT Al-Muttaqin. Instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara guru, angket untuk analisis kebutuhan, lembar validasi untuk ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli bahasa untuk kelayakan media, dan angket peserta didik untuk kelayakan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran IPA kelas V SD mendapatkan hasil positif dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Penilaian validasi ahli materi mendapatkan skor 97,5% (Sangat Baik), Penilaian validasi ahli media mendapatkan skor rata-rata 95,4% (Sangat Baik), Penilaian validasi ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor 87,5% (Sangat Baik), pada uji one-to-one mendapatkan 82,5%, uji coba grup kecil 84,5%, dan uji coba grup besar 87%. ******** This study aims to develop learning media in the form of digital comics and to test the feasibility of digital comic media in science learning in elementary schools. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the Baker and Schutz development model which includes seven stages, Formulation, Instructional Specification, Prototype Item Tryout, Product Development, Product Tryout, Product Revision, and Operation Analysis. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SDIT Al-Muttaqin. The research instruments were teacher interviews, questionnaires for needs analysis, validation sheets for material experts, media experts and linguists for media feasibility, and student questionnaires for product feasibility. The results showed that digital comics as a medium for learning science for fifth grade elementary school got positive results and deserved to be used in science learning on the material of the human digestive system. The material expert validation assessment got an score of 97.5% (Very Good), the media expert validation assessment got an score of 95.4% (Very Good), the linguist validation assessment got an score of 87.5% (Very Good), in the one-to-one test was 82.5%, the small group trial was 84.5%, and the large group trial was 87%.
