Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk bahan ajar dengan judul “Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Kosakata Bahasa Inggris Berbasis Metode Total Physical Response di Kelas IV SD” dengan 2 unit yang difokuskan yaitu, unit 1; Parts of Body, dan unit 2; How Do the People Look Like. Metode yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R & D) dengan menggunakan tahapan Atwi Suparman. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas empat SDN Kalisari 03 Pagi sebanyak 45 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan evaluasi formatif oleh para responden dengan tahapan uji coba ahli (Expert Review), evaluasi satusatu (one-to-one), evaluasi kelompok kecil (small group), dan uji coba lapangan (field test). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes formatif. Berbasis Metode Total Physical Response menunjukkan hasil dengan kategori sangat baik. This study aims to produce teaching materials with the title "Development of Instructional Materials English Vocabulary Based on Total Physical Response Method at Class IV Elementary School" with two units focused namely, unit 1; Parts of Body, and unit 2; How Do the People Look Like. The method used in this study is a research and development or Research and Development (R & D) by using Atwi Suparman stages. The study involved a fourth grade students at SDN Kalisari 03 Pagi as many as 45 students. This study uses a formative evaluation by the respondents to the trial stage experts (Expert Review), the evaluation of the single (one-to-one), the evaluation of small groups (small group), and field trials (field tests). The collection of data is done using observe, interviews, questionnaires, and formative test. Based Total Physical Response method showed excellent results by the category.
