Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan hasil belajar public speaking peserta didik di Dimentori Bimbel Bekasi, penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel tanpa adanya upaya untuk mempengaruhi variabel. Desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Bimbingan Belajar Dimentori Bekasi jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama dan Sekolah Menengah Atas yang mengikuti pembelajaran soft skill public speaking yaitu berjumlah 32 peserta didik, sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling jenuh karena jumlah populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian yaitu sebanyak 32 sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data kepercayaan diri menggunakan instrumen non tes yaitu angket dan hasil belajar public speaking menggunakan nilai yang sudah ada, uji validitas instrumen menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan rumus alpha cronbach, uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik inferensial, uji statistik inferensial yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi product moment untuk mengetahui tingkat hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan hasil belajar public speaking peserta didik Dimentori Bimbel Bekasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor pencapaian kepercayaan diri peserta didik dalam kategori cukup yaitu sebesar 49,59% dan skor hasil belajar public speaking sebesar 69,62% yang berada dalam kategori cukup, besar korelasi antar variabel ditunjukkan dengan Sig. (2-tailed) dan nilai koefisien korelasi. Sig 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,632 > 0,349 (r_tabel) dan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t diketahui bahwa nilai t_hitung = 4,472 dan nilai t_tabel = 2,042 untuk taraf signifikansi = 0,05 dan taraf kebebasan (df = 32-2) = 30 yang artinya adalah menolak Ho dan menerima H1, kesimpulannya adalah terdapat korelasi antara kepercayaan diri dengan hasil belajar public speaking. Adapun tingkat hubungan korelasi tersebut berada dalam kategori sedang karena 63,2% atau 0,632 berada pada rentang 0,40 – 0,70. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and public speaking learning outcomes of students at Dimentori Bimbel Bekasi, this research is a quantitative study and the method used is the correlation method which aims to determine the relationship between two variables without any attempt to influence the variables. The design in this study used a survey research design. The population in this study was the students of the Bekasi Dimentory Educational Guidance for Junior High School and Senior High School who took part in the soft skill learning of public speaking, which amounted to 32 students, the sample used was saturated sampling technique because the population was used as the research sample, which was 32 samples. The technique of collecting self-confidence data uses non-test instruments, namely questionnaires and public speaking learning outcomes using existing values, testing the validity of the instrument using the product moment correlation formula. The reliability of the instrument uses the Cronbach alpha formula, the analysis prerequisite test uses the normality test, linearity test, and the coefficient of determination test. While the data analysis technique used is inferential statistics, the inferential statistical test used is the product moment correlation test to determine the level of relationship between self-confidence and public speaking learning outcomes for students at Dimentori Bimbel Bekasi. The results showed that the achievement score of students' self-confidence in the sufficient categorfry was 49.59% and the score for public speaking learning outcomes was 69.62% which was in the sufficient category, the large correlation between variables was indicated by Sig. (2-tailed) and the value of the correlation coefficient. Sig 0.000 < 0.05 and the correlation coefficient value is 0.632 > 0.349 (r_table) and based on the results of the t-test calculation it is known that the value of t_count = 4.472 and the value of t_table = 2.042 for the significance level = 0.05 and the level of freedom (df = 32-2) =30 which means rejecting Ho and accepting H1, the conclusion is that there is a correlation between self-confidence and learning outcomes of public speaking. The level of correlation is in the moderate category because 63.2% or 0.632 is in the range 0.40 – 0.70.
